3:35 Hi Sir, please show the difference between these 2 settings using an example of some dynamic game. Because you are the first (whom I have seen) to say that cqp is better than cbr. It would be great. useful to see an example
Hi, I tested it myself, you can check result on my other channel @skill_up_cs . The TOP 10 mirage video recorded recently is recorded on CBR 10 000 bitrate and the most recent Top 10 smokes for Vertigo is recorded with CQP level 16. You can compare it yourself. For me, I really did not see some big difference except the file size. Size of the Vertigo video recorded with CQP was 5x bigger than Mirage one.

I did multiple recordings for CQ level 18 and CQ level 30, when I looked at them I could not notice any difference, I want to keep it at 30 because I don't have much room on my laptop

i have a zotac nvidia geforce rtx 3050 gpu and a amd ryzen 7 5700x 8 core processor which one is more powerful so i can choose which encoder option
Depends which game you are playing mainly. For example CS2 uses primary CPU, so in that case use of GPU for streaming would be better.

Depends on what kind of laptop do you have. If its really low, I would go definitely with Faster Encoder Presets

Great video Daniel I was looking for that! I have been left with just a doubt. In video tab of settings you put 60. You still run the auto configuration wizard and choose from there. There is a choice I'm not sure about, giving preference to high framerate or high resolution. you do anything there? All these settings are ok if I choose 30 fps? thanks!!
Hmm.. could you be more specific about which setting we are talking about? What did you mean by that I run " auto configuration wizard" and also where are you choosing between "high framerate or high resolution"? Only setting I'm aware of is where I'm choosing between best quality or good performance of PC (preset in output), or are we talking about something different?
Yes. Under tools menu the First option Is autoconfiguration wizard, then choose optimize Just for recording, the you can choose: "60 or 30, but prefer 60 when possibile" or "60 or 30, but prefer High resolution". I was wondering what to choose if you are recording tutorial and not gaming. Thanks man!
My only question is when you upload videos in 1080p quality, RUclips uploads it with an encoder that loses quality and messed up the bitrate, do these settings prevent that?
Even though RUclips videos loses quality after upload, I do not think it is such a level of video quality downgrade that it's worth worry about it.
You can force RUclips to encode it with the better encoder (vp9) just change the resolution settings in your render from 1920x1080 to 2048x1152. It tricks RUclips into using the higher quality encoder!

for me in encorder settings CQP is not there
Hi, in case you can see the CRF option, you can go with this as CRF and CQP are basically equivalent. It all depends on your graphics card and sometimes also on what encoder you chose.
I want to know how to lock the fps in recording because sometimes it goes below 60fps

Why 2 s in keyframe interval?
Hi, keyframe interval determines how often the whole picture is transmitted. In case your video has in majority static scenes, you can go with 2 (best and mostly adviced setting for streaming and recording as well), but in case you record more action, like sports, than you can go with shorter interval of around one second. But test it firstly to see whether it doesn't cause any performance issue for your PC.

Depends on parameters of laptop. There are high performance gaming laptops and then the ones with lower performance. So really hard to say in general.
