Blue Angels First Airshow of 2018 at NAF El Centro CA. Cool, calm and cloudy today for the airshow so the Blues flew a low show but it was a Great start to the 2018 airshow season...GO BLUES!!!!
These guys must rank in the top 5 most talented military pilots in the world.I saw them in Ocean City Md and I was blown away, chills were going down my spine.

It is very difficult for me to watch this since I knew the Blue Angel Jeff Kuss personally. Thank you so very much for the flyover you did for him, I was there for the Memorial 'Parade' down Main Street in Durango. I can't imagine all the time and practice it takes to perfect these maneuvers to such amazing precision!! My Daddy was a NAVY veteran and took us to watch the Angels when we were growing up. So many great memories and stories were about his time on an aircraft carrier. He loved the Angels!
Every member of our military deserves our support! These people, crews & pilots, show what is possible with courage, training and discipline. Go with God!
Same. My father was friends with the former chief of maintenance (That’s not what its called but close enough) and got to meet them at an air show. I got a whole bunch of posters and stickers and my father almost got to fly in one but the season got cancelled.
Blues just got back home this week. It's always a good sign that summer is right around the corner. Of course you can't tell it by the temps this week. Welcome home guys. Can't wait for another great year.

I still get excited when I hear you practicing before the Oct weekend performances - Like I'm a kid again! Love you all and thank you for generously entertaining us with your excellence!
I absolutely LOVED it when they flew over Arapahoe College in Littleton, Colorado when I graduated! It made goose bumps go up ALL our necks! What a thrill! AND an honor to give us! The crowd just roared!!!! WONDERFUL!!!
it’s mainly just the navy because on carriers they try to limit the amount of extra equipment needed so simple things such as attaching the ladder to the plane make the flight deck much less cluttered
I mostly know about F-16's and their ladders are not integrated. Probably the comment about carriers is right and F-16's were not used in carriers. (At least not any that I know of)
Blue Angles are the best!!! First saw them at Toledo Express Airport in Ohio. My Dad just was in seventh heaven with the first time here in 1960's. I was very young and my siblings all stood in line after the show to get their autographs and visit with them ( just allowed on question per pilot). We went 2 to 3 more times they came with years between. Then the Thunderbirds came. They were not as good. But the show had all branches of their best jets there as well as the large transport plane from WW2. I have also seen the Stealth when it was in it's first or second year. They don't have them here anymore. Last one was 10 yrs ago.

I got to see the Blue Angels fly in 2015 at the Latrobe Air Show and absolutely loved watching them fly! They fueled my passion and interest for aviation. My dad's retired Air Force and he got so into watching them fly and loved explaining to my sister and I how they do it!

Unless the people watching this in person or here on RUclips have actually served throughout our military I highly doubt they can fully appreciate how important The Blues, Thunderbirds, and Golden Knights are to the nation's recruitment and retention efforts and in inspiring the next generation of military servicemen and women! For those of you who don't know, this is what The Blues call a "flat show" meaning that due to a cloud layer they don't perform all the maneuvers they would with a "high show", limited rolling maneuvers in the flat show by the 2nd best aerial demonstration squadron in the USA, The Thunderbirds of course being #1!

Yay NAVAIR!!!!! They are flying over my house right now Vero Beach FL show today!When I lived in NY l used to work with them. NAVAIR one of our govt customers. We would watch them practice from Republic Airport to Jones Beach. Love to watch but a little noisy though.

The sound of the engine when they start the fuel flow over the APU is beautiful.
You don’t hear the APU when they start cranking the engine.

This was one of the BEST El Centro Blue Angel Air Shows I've seen. Also I think this is the first low show they had in El Centro a while.
