Prepare to draw a gamboling otter with me in pastel pencils. Part 1 of the process is to prepare materials, the board and get relaxed and ready to create something beautiful 🦦

The way you set up your stuff before you start your art work for some reason it’s so satisfying. Love your art results. Cheers 😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for this interesting video. I’m struck by two things: the foam pencil stand and the long points on the pencils. The foam pencil stand is brilliant. Where might I find one? As for the pencils sharpened to a long point, what is the purpose of this? What advantage is there compared to a more standard pencil point? Thank you.

Hi! You can get the foam by searching for 'pick and pluck foam', Warhammer artists use it. I like getting a longer point for a few reasons; it's easier to be more precise, the tip stays sharper for longer, and, I can use the pencil on a broad side, like a pastel chalk, for larger areas :)

I didn’t make it, but you could! It’s actually just some modular packaging, often used by tech companies. You could get foam and create + shapes slits in it for each pencil though 😊
