This was a perfect video. Chance gives us all the info we’re looking for and we watch him ride while doing so. Well done RMMC!
Great video! I bought one a month ago and I love it! Incredible power and chug ability starts instantly, never gets hot, awesome suspension. I’ve owned 12 different dirt bikes from 250 4stroke moto bikes to xr500s to 250 two strokes and this is the best bike I’ve ever owned.
Thanks for that. I’m either getting that or the KTM 300 offering. 2019 or 20
Awesome bike! A real enduro weapon!
Cool video. Lots of info. And the trail you were on looks fun!
Thanks *Cody Tryon* for watching! Yes, it's a very fun trail.
Like to see the Piston and cylinder after first top end service and review of riding at 11500' and above in Colorado
Very nice bikes indeed..
Great videos 👌👍
It would be nice if the manufacture would offer spring rate choices from the factory....even their cost on new springs would be nice....
Brill vid mate and not shit music 🇬🇧👍I've had my 300i for about 10 weeks love use for trail riding got her all set on soft and love it over 50mpg 100miles before a fill up best bike I've ever had tbh.🇬🇧👍
Glad you enjoyed it! It is rad bike for sure.
Thanks for the video the Tx300 is the way to go the T.E. is a good bike as well but i don't care for the wide Ratio transmission compared to the Tx300 transmission
Good review thanks! I’m on the waiting list to get one from your St. G store next month, can’t wait! I’ll put in a Rekluse :)
Dan Lockwood why they are know good for enduro i.e getting over logs with a little blip of clutch or rocks bad move mate
Have you had any issues with starting out in 1st gear coming off idle with hesitation or bogging? I have a 19 300i and it bogs like crazy from a stand still or low revs.
Jay, any suggestions for my spring rates, 2019 TE 300i? I am 192 pounds no gear.
Did you end up changing the springs front and rear? If so what set up did you do? Picking up this bike soon and I’m a bigger guy would like to know what you be a good set up. Thank you.
Really good review I bought a 17 te300 brand new while back, jd jet kit, v-force reeds, pro circuit shorty thing ripped for sure! On a 18 TC250 now I am amazed it's even faster then my old 300! Forgot how the 250's hit! Haha
Awesome, thanks for watching *Jay!* Definitely some fun machines.
good review
Great review👍 Im quite a tall big guy 220 pounds. Do I have to change the spring to match me? Or is the stock spring ok? I guss that i have to set the dampening on Max 😂
I really like that bike
Nice review Chance, when I started looking at getting a new bike the Husky was my dream bike. However at nearly 10k at the time for a 300 2 stroke put it out of my budget so I ended up getting my Beta. I like the idea of the tpi except for the added electronics. For this reason I don't think I would go tpi. I did the Lectron carb swap on my 300 race addition and I think it's as close as you can get to you while still keeping it consistent with the simplicity of a 2 stroke.
I used to think like you and think Lwctron was almoat as good as FI. I have ran a Lectron for years. I just got a 300xcwTPI last week. The Lectron needs a special cable, the needle/seat wear out 2 years in, the Choke assembly needs to be removed and cleaned every few months because it lets dirt in :( , and the foam cone or Gforce (depending on what you have in there) is not good over bumps while wide open. The TPI is unreal. Zero issues. Granted, i have only had it a week.
I'm shopping for my first 2T and if I pull the trigger it'll be on a TPI bike. I don't have any background with carb bikes and don't want to mess with jetting, mixing fuel etc. My current bike is a 500exc with almost 400 hrs on it, all original motor and electronics, including the battery lol. The bike has been rallied, run through mud, rock, sand, hills, woods etc. I'm confident in the technology.
Excellent review. Thanks! I'm not seeing much advantage of the TPI over the Lectron….
So much better, simplicity of a carb and benefits of fi 😁
Can someone please tell me why the low end of a two stroke is better than the low end of a 4. I have never owned a 2 stroke but I have ridden them, it was a long time ago and it was power band or nothing, not good for trail riding
Great video. Very understandable and applicable commentary.
How does the 300tpi compare to the 350xcfw 4t? I am considering switching for more maneuverability in technical riding and twisty singletrack. The 350xcfw has incredible traction climbing. How does the 300tpi compare? Sacrificing whoops performance or high speed performance?
Ben Rieff I can tell you, the 300 with the linkage suspension model, absolutely rips, in every terrain, from super technical terrain, it has tons of grunt and is super hard to stall, and through the whoops and jumps and high speed stuff it rips, I’m sure the non linkage model works well too but if you don’t want to sacrifice any performance through whoops and jumps the linkage model is the way to go
How would it with a 200 lbs + rider in the trails
Every bike should be resprung for 'THE RIDER'! Everyone is different size and weight and OEM produces them accordingly for their mean average market.
Nice bike! Even better will be the BRC kit to make it a 500!
Brc only fits up to 2016 now
Do you think this bike would perform great without problem for a 300lb person?
Rode the ktm 300 tpi this past weekend bike is so fun and easy to ride you can go just as fast on any other bike with Half the amount of work
Nice! We feel the same way. Thanks for watching!
Hi mate !
Any chance of doing technical rocky trails with steep technical hill climbs in the future ???
*Henry Darr* you know it!
Henry Darr .......Any bike with a half decent jockey will ride those trails with relative ease, the gnarly technical ascents and descents we have in the UK test bike and rider to the full, yet we rarely witness that scenareo on these videos.
This is a walk in the park by comparison and cannot be considered a substantive review of a technically enhanced machine.
Neither the bike nor the rider were tested to the full, why then are we expected to take them seriously. As a popular and amusing president would say....Fake News.
Does the 2019 Husqvarna TE 300i tested have a counterbalance on crankshaft? if so does it lessen vibration?
Yes it does, and it's unbelievable how effective it is, I own a 19 te300i 👍
I’d like to also see you guys get a Sherco and stock Sherco parts. 😀👍
*LostInPA* We have something coming down the pipe. Stay Tuned! Thanks for watching.
sherco is where its at...
Sweet bike!
I think Brembo is better than Magura though. Wish my TPI had the same adjusters on the forks.
turbolq4 look up Kreft moto for suspensions they specialize in WP EXPLOR 48 upgrades
*turbolq4* have you tried the Magura Clutch/Brake set up on the TE300i? Can't tell a difference. Magura's been in the game for 125 years. Both Brembo and Magura work great! The Adjuster knobs are nice. Thanks for watching.
@@rmatvmc
Not that particular bike, just previous Magura clutches. I know there are mechanical differences in the tpi KTMs clutch vs the older Magura designs so that could be part of the difference.
It loves the powerband lol ?
Do a First Impressions video of the new KTM 300XC. Thanks in advance!
The XC would blow the husky away!!!!
Yes , I like the fact that the xc doesn't need an oil pump to go out and bam there gos the engine while you are riding.
The mix it and forget it carb is just as good if not better. So what mix it and go whats the big deal?
Is that a bull @ 2:58? Great video I am going for a 2021
Sorry, it's just a cow
I like this one but my 2016 Te300 still works fine
*Alex W* TE300's are sweet machines. Thanks for watching!
Is this thing road legal?
Great trail and bike. I just bought one.... Where is the trail?
Payson canyon here in Utah.
Utah is KING OF THE HILL !
Chance. I'm in Utah too. Where is that trail you're riding?
This trail is up Payson canyon!
Im stock form its sprung for a 130lb rider.
what trail are you riding??
*Len Frandsen* - Payson Canyon single track here in Utah. You can start at Bennie Creek and ride for miles. Your '15 YZ250F will love it up there! Come give it a twist.
Mis the Swedish real Huskys. I had many from 1976 to 1983.
Now those were some real steel horses. Thanks for watching!
With the kick on the left side and so on...
Also don't forget the Husabergs like the FS650 they weighted as much as a 450 and were as powerful as a ktm 690
Where are you riding at?
Payson, Utah .
how much is an oil pump???
Right around $100!
look up 1971 cr250 works bike 180lbs
What bike are you talking about? Honda first introduced the Elsinore line in 1973...
Buying an oil pump every 80 hours is going the wrong way ? With tpi you'd save enough money in fuel and oil in that time to cover it !
Oops, I’m one of the little guys 🤷♂️
Is it e start
Yes, this bike has an electric start as well as a kick start. Thanks for the question and checking out our videos!
Awesome not trying to be an idiot but just lose little bit of weight and maybe the ladies follow suit to God blessed and happy trails
Most of the people that say they need a 300 actually need a diet and exercise program 😂 250's have plenty of low end power, don't believe the 300 hype
Im a lean 175 pounds, have a 250 and 300. I like the motor on the 300 better. To each their own.
Spring it in the 200 lb range.
Americans are too fat.
@@danodbdb Not denying that.
But then it wouldn’t work for my 170lbs.
My Wife's cooking will fix that. 😁
Ouch, $9900 and it's going to need suspension work...
i have one,,sprung for my weight 200lbs..no re valve.. its brilliant,,,
I have one and I think the suspension is fantastic out of the box, I’m 175lbs
Dealer in Berkleley West Virginia has great prices on the TE300i
I'd swear that KTM and Husqvarna builds bikes for guys that 6' tall 175lbs.
I wish I weighed 175 lbs.
You you give a small hint where that trail is?
These trails are up Payson Canyon. This area is called Jones Ranch
Err they are a Husqvarna not Husk -a- varna.
Pretty soon there will be self driving dirt bikes that we don’t even have to ride!
First
14 Mad Greenie idiots that think a couple of dirt bikes produce more pollution than the 100's of thousands of cars and trucks all round the world, 1 Dirt Bike on a 6 hour ride doesn't produce as much emissions or pollution as your house running for 6 hours. Great Review.

90% of oil injected bikes ,jet skis etc end up getting the "bypass pre mix mod" lol!
And prettty much all of them are carbed with out some kind of injector meant to handle the added oil that won't work on these bike
Ski Doo Etec snowmobiles have been running this set up for years without any issues.
I have thousands of miles on Yamaha snowmobiles with oil injection and no failures. I think they started that in 1968? I had a 1973 all the way up to a 1996 with no oiling issues.
I also had a Yamaha RZ350 with 20,000 miles on it when I sold it. No oil injection issues.
So, Yamaha has known how to do this for over 50 yrs. No excuse for any other company to F this up.
I would much rather mix my own gas.
Why?
@@makegaminggreatagain3907 In case the oil pump goes out like they used to on stand up jet skis. If the oil pump breaks, you blow your bike up
@@thrasher2094 The oil pump breaks its warrantied and I think Husky has solved that problem before they take a PR hit with blowing up motors. It would do a lot of damage if the mixing system starting acting up and engines were blowing up...
@@JF32304 For how long though? How long is the warranty? Something decent where they aren't just giving it to people to scam them into buying the bike? Or is the warranty likely to run out before the oil pump? Still not q chance i want to take. Wonder if its possible to disconnect the pump and run mixed gas like you could on jet skis. But i doubt Husky is built Yamaha tough. My YZ250 chipped a piece off of the top of the piston and shot it out the exhaust and did no damage at all to the cylinder. It just wouldn't open up to the top end. Now thats reliability and good engineering. Granted my bike is the same as a 2019 YZ250 and they haven't touched it much since 2006, but it is a very very solid bike as is, so i guess it isn't the end of the world
Hoos-kvarna... Not Huska-varna.
Not in the south....
Or just in Swedish, Husqvarna😂
Building bikes for people weighing 120-130 pounds...........are they using horse jockeys to test these things? LMAO. Good review though. 👍🏻
KTM is better
miloraca it’s the same company lol
