10:35 Actually, you cannot play options with Barbamon's effect, Yes you play a play cost of 10- Opponents Hand. But Options are not a play cost and are not "played" You can however pick a Digimon Or Tamer as they will mention "Play" or "Play Cost" while options only specify "Cost"
I will probably try to build this deck since I like the demon lords though I will have to wait awhile since I also want to build the two new Infinite forbidden Yugioh decks white woods and Millennium Exodia first mainly cause I now build Digimon decks for fun for time being due to the only locals closest to where I live that did Yugioh and Digimon closing permanently back in March.
Personally I like mixing this deck with a gizumon engine. The gizumon help you dig into the deck and fill your trash, then as gates pops them, you can upgrade into the next gizumon while refilling your deck (it has helped me a lot to not deck out). This way I also use Starter deck Matt as my memory tamer to gain memory as I play the gizumons.
@@nemesisalex9424 but always be careful because I was playing against a demon lot player and I played a sukamon card to destroy the Matt tamer so my opponent could have barely played any digimon as a result of the lack of memory
I don't understand the combo at 26:04, you said to evo into Ogudomon with the gate still out, wait a turn, then attack. Wouldn't the gate just delete your Ogudomon before he can attack?
Sorry for the confusion! You're correct, Ogudomon would not be able to survive for the turn to make an attack as long as gate is still up. What I wanted to convey is that you can still Digivolve into Ogudomon and use its "When Digivolving" effect to control the board. The Gate will delete it after, but it helps set it up the trash. Once you are ready to use the Gate and play it from trash, you can swing and try to add more sources turn after turn if you can't go for game the first swing. I didn't realize I missed all these details when recording but had it all in my head! Hope this clarifies that section!
I dont think it'll be much different outside of just adding the new one. If played by Baal's effect, you can got into X easily since you have Rush with the X Antibody equipped
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the rush just for the beelzemon? If you digivolve don’t you lose the rush since it doesn’t say “this Digimon gains rush”?
I think it's a pretty neat idea to add it. But I think the deck doesn't necessarily need it to function either. I personally would prefer prioritizing consistency cards that help set up the trash quicker. Hope this helps!
Does anyone know the idea behind the 7ds symbols? Sometimes creators take influence from real world cultures, Bleach & KH/FF get their naming schemes from Latin for example
U can digivolve on top of lvl 6 get 5k dp if the lvl 6 was already on the field then u could swing 10k total and then use rivals barrage or matt to regrab shinegrey ruin mode to use it again in my opinion
@@richardcombs2509 but you can’t swing with ruin mode with the turn the digimon is played (beelzemon has rush but he doesn’t give it to ruin mode) to me it sounded like you could attack with ShineGreymon ruin mode but as I understand it, unless a digimon has rush you can’t swing with any other digimon because of the gate deleting it at the start of your turn so you can’t get the recovery from ruin mode just the awesome blanket dp effect.
@garyphilpot5324 I'm saying if u have a lvl 6 still on the field from the turn before which can Happen if you had king drasil as the top digiegg or lilithmon since it can delete your lvl 5 or lower or the opponents level 5 or lower to prevent its deletion in those situations you can

This deck is easy to beat for a lot of decks but I still hate it. Ogudamon just changes too much about the game's rules. There are a lot of decks out there that stand 0% chance of beating this simply because there's nothing to interact with. Memory means nothing thanks to their gate reduction. Security bombs are meaningless too because they just trash all your security. You can't interact with their board because it all hides in the egg zone. To beat Ogudamon you need at least one of the following... 1. Be fast aggro. 2. Have a ton of protection effects like Armor forms, Fortitude or other things that make your board sticky. 3. Have floodgates. If your deck lacks all three of these you just autolose to it. It's not just an unfavorable matchup. It's a death sentence.
King Drasil is a horrible choice for a fifth egg. If you want one for the another source with a different name, run Mother D-Reaper instead, that way if it's your first egg you can still pish it out and try again. EDIT: I realize that King Drasil will still put the Gates underneath, and you could get to a very cheap cost reduction that way. Ignore my first comment, it's absolutely unnecessary.

The new Leviamon only deletes if your opponent has fewer than it equal digimon or tamers.
You also would have been able to tuck a source when the chaos mode put that Digimon in your security
