Ogudomon's effect is INSANE! I know he's the GOAT of the 7DL but DAMN that's an instant win effect if I ever saw one. Great time watching them interact and I like the respect bandai put on the name of the angels with this expansion

Holy hell, that was insane! TK and the 3 Great Angels were working tirelessly to create a strong field to counter the 7GDL. With and Dominimon's protection, it would've been possible to do so. The 7 Great Demon Lords however were not holding back. That memory gain to 8 is insane, and you had to drop Levia lol. Not even ShineGreymon Ruin Mode could turn the tide of battle when Ogudomon finally hits the field. Kudos to Protag and Paddy as usual for showing us the playstyle of interactions between the two deck! (Btw, I realised both of your voices isn't as loud as the other videos 😅. Hope you two are doing well over there.)
Ogudumon is essentially Exodia except against Super wide boards, but with all the deletion effects 7dl has... good luck getting super wide. Or not already having won with said wide board.
Love how Yellow basically treats its Security as a secondary hand (much like how in Yu-Gi-Oh! the GY is pretty much a second hand in a lotta cases). On another note, CAN'T WAIT FOR RAGNALOARDMON!! (you already working on it right right?)
That was incredible. One moment the game had a comeback with Leviamon and destroyed the angel's protection. The next moment the demon gate opened and the game was over. I'd love to see which ultimate move is better Yggdrasil vs Demongate
I'm so excited to get to play the 7GDLs deck for myself. That late game is just insane, getting to drop demon lords with their costs reduced by 9 or even 12.
I think the volume mixing is a little off. The music is pretty loud compared to you guys, there are some parts where it's kinda hard to make out what you're saying.
I built a Suspension Hell deck out of the green cards. Massively prevents your opponent from using any active Digimon while you can recycle some rookies to reuse.
It did. Yggdrasil is an extra name if it isn't the first egg revealed. If it is the first egg you just pivot into mega zoo. Your demon lords aren't deleted so you can just play them for cheap and get powerful on plays and then swing
I love the 7GDL playstyle but just to think that it suffers against the rookie floodgates and then for the next format following EX06 (BT17), we'll have this guy: Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode ACE BT17-077 SR
It’s super fun right now! Decks are strong but digimon is probs the most mentally manageable tcg. Only real new thing to wrap your head around is ACE cards.
@@carterbowman6916 eh I'd say Cardfight vanguard is the more manageable one. Though Digimon def comes out with more interesting decks and higher skill expression than most tcgs.
@@chahalele they're something like hand traps, they let you divivolve on top of something for free when your opponent attacks. They also have lower play costs and usually have on play effects. only downside is when the card leaves the battle area you lose some memory
Imagine a scene where one digimon with blocker can't be deleted by ogudomon, then you just swing for security only to be blocked and can no longer use your gates effect 😂
Not exatcly sure on this, but when Ogudamon effect deleted Shinegreymon shouldnt it also trash immediatly the security? The only after the "On deletion" from angemon would activate recovering 1 shield, which means Ogudomon would still check 1 security.
Ogudamon has 2 when attacking. The first places 7 demon lords under him and if you placed 4 or more you delete a digimon or tamer. This deleted ruin mode. Any on deletes are now the newest and have to activate. Then you go to the 2nd when attacking which bottom decks 7 demon lord sources to delete 7 things and trash security
It's effect will always place a card from the top of the egg deck if possible. It will only place a demon lord from the trash if it deleted a Digimon. Since it didn't delete a Digimon, it only placed a second gate in its sources. This move was fine.
Maybe he change 3 copy of raremon to rivals barrage. Because never see in this video raremon get Mill or play. Never mind i see 1 of it, at this point maybe eyesmon, purple lucemon from BT-07 or 1 of 4 copy of any demon lord.
Should've gone wirh Seraphimon instead of Cherubimon. Had the delay effect played Seraphimon Ace you'd have recovery +1 and you'd return Demon to hand, which slows down the gate mechanic.
You do realized Daemon can still put a 7GDL card under Gate if he would leave the battle area, right? If they choose to play Seraphimon instead, not only they will trigger Daemon's ALL TURN effect, they also just give the 7gdl player the opportunity to play Daemon once again to delete one of their digimon.
I dont mean to discredit 3 great angel, but 7 demon lords really too much for them to handle. I wonder if Royal Knight stand againts these demon lords...
Unfortunately Royal Knights couldn't stand a chance against Seven Great Demon Lords as well due to how easily Seven Great Demon Lords can get rid of Royal Knight's resources for Ygg
Paddy needs to follow the game setup a bit better. At one point the top of his security was the card closest to him, then suddenly it changes to the card furthest away. This is cheating. It's obviously not intended as your videos are fun and enjoyable, but it's not great to see.

watching the game, I knew that, sooner or later, the SGDL deck would have a payoff. Forgot about Ogudamon though and that crazy effect.

Did this 7DL Deck saw competetive play? I am seeing a bunch of BT16 7DL decks but most play with 1 Yggdrasil_7D6 and I am not sure why

Nah, Paladin Mode ACE may slow the deck down. But it doesn't stop the deck entirely due to how much mill power the deck has.
For the floodgate rookies you can just use Porcupamon or the Options to get rid of them.

Placing digiegg under it from digiegg deck doesn't need deletion to happen
