Fun enought to get barreld and not die
For most of us (in our heads anyway), this is ideal. I love The Lighthouse. Spent the night at the Coast Guard station once. It was a cement bunker. Then walked over the dunes and had a fun day of surfing.
MASEN! You must be one proud pop. I remember the exact day it clicked for my kid, and boy was I stoked.
I can't even describe all of the reasons why this is THE best surf channel 😊
The talent, the conditions we get to experience second-hand, the angles, the pure stoke and genuinely beautiful human beings involved.

@4:54 - nice. shorepound in indialantic used to break just like that a lot - in the 70s/80s, when it was offshore. all the sand pumping and dumping f'ed it up.

how do you get so many skeleton bay lookalike waves?
I am surprised at the quality of waves the East Coast produces. I can imagine days like this happen a few times a year.. but the same can be said of California.
No wonder why some of the best US surfers come from that side of the country.

No not at all. Was just a combo of them dredging this summer and the swell being just right. Like I said, most perfect in 5yrs.
@@brettbarley rad. Was only asking cause I often find waves pealing perfect that are a foot or 2 high. Teasers but sometimes they got ENOUOH punch to highline and pump. You grew up in a great place for waves changing in one area all the time. Like surfing different spots but at the same spot. Not to many places do that. I admire your drive and passion
A dream for me . I'm a goofy footer in the land of perfect rights on the Gold Coast . Two hours south (Angourie) rights . Two hours north (Noosa) rights . Kind of insane . My back hand form got vey good .
