- Riding my restored 2001 Kawasaki kx 125 again at a private track. The bike has been sitting for about 2 years. Since then, I replaced the frame with another 2001 frame that has a title. This was the first time riding after a frame swap. Also, I removed the chrome from the pipe and added a new gripper seat cover since the last time it was ridden.
that cr is just such a timeless bike.. still the best looking production bike ever made imo
Yes I love the cr250
That right there’s one lean, mean, green machine son. Looks good and love the throw backs 🤙🏼
@@VinnyCannoli593 thank you!!
This track looks so damn fun!
It’s so fun in a 125
I own a 2000 kx 125 and it just feels good knowing a professional racer owns the same one as me
That’s awesome! Yes, they are great bikes
Very good clutch control 😮
Thank you!!
Your a great rider 👍 love the bike too ❤️ I have a 2002 kx 250 same frame love the kx’s, look at the reeds on the cr
That’s awesome! Thank you!! I did check the reeds. They are like new. Thanks for the input
How does the kx 250 2 stroke handle compared to the kxf250? Does the 250 2stroke have any engine brakeing at all?
@@jcg66 It feels light and stable with no engine breaking and great power very touchy on the gas compared to a four stroke hopefully this helps some 😁 it’s my favorite bike ❤️
sounds great!!
...the bike looks good!
That 125 sounds amazing lol!! Just sale it if your going to let it sit for 2 years
Thanks! I can’t let
It go.. haha
I had this one when I was 16. The notion that riding a 125 is "dangerous" makes me laugh.
Haha
Running an excessive amount of water without antifreeze will result in a slow boil off of your coolant level resulting in an overheat had it happen on a KX 250 go to use 50-50 water like that it’s only good to get you back to the truck
Yes your right
Kx💪✌✌
Hey, how do you feel about the 1997 kx125? Is it a good bike? Is it reliable and is it fast?
Yes! They are very similar to this 2001
@@motoblast3574 thanks
Did hondas have mechanical power valves that could gum up with spoog? Was the mystery of the sputtering cr250 ever solved?
The sputtering was actually the coil!
👍🏼
👍🏼
Is the kx original or has it been modified? I mean it has engine level
It’s pretty much all stock except a pro circuit pipe and silencer.
I’m gonna buy a 80s kx125 and I am wondering, is it a full size bike
Yes, it’s a full size
are you satisfied with the quality of the kx ,is the motor and frame reliable ?
I love this kx! Frame is great and motor is very strong. Only thing I notice is the steering stop doesn’t allow the bike to turn tight. Only really notice that when maneuvering it in and out of the garage though 😂
@@motoblast3574 how does it turn? because i've read mxa they say that it has a big frame
250 either reeds, the spark is emitting at high rpms= electrical timing is off, spark plug boot is bad , cdi box , coil , wire harness. Kill switch could be activating trying running with kill switch disconnected.
I appreciate your input. I did try disconnecting the kill switch already. I pretty sure its electrical. Im going to swap a full electronic system from another cr250 and see if it solves the problem
What’s your jetting specs? Yours sounds crispy
It’s all stock actually. I just run AV gas
👌SweeT....
the sound is addicting
Gennusa’s track?
Yes!
Where’d u get graphics for kx 125
I actually ordered these from someone on eBay. I think they are called ( Braap Graphics)
Probably reeds if the cdi checks out.
This rides like in the 80's no style jumping straight over all those jumps!👎🤣
😂 let’s see a video of you riding 😂😂😂
