Enjoying this discussion so much. A doctor told me about 30 years ago that stress is the number one killer and I believe him. My doctor is surprised that I’m in such good shape as a diabetic. I had been under extreme stress for about 6 months because of a surprising relocation that I decided to make. My sugar was sky high by the time I saw a doctor and was settled down. Because of seeing you all giving such good advice I’m doing a plant based diet, 16/8 fasting my sugar is doing great. I’m alone a lot and this is my main way to distress. Situations or people that stress me I keep at a distance.
My sister just passed away from a stroke at 74. I have RA, fibromyalgia, Diabetes, high blood pressure, constant lower back pain but I can do what I need to do. I look at comedy most of the time and people often say I’m so funny. I also take a lot of time engaged in spiritual activities as I am a JW. People today need to slow down and put more interest in their health , the inner person. We will all have a degree of stress, but we can eliminate a lot of the unnecessary stress. My niece told me the other day, auntie you never look like you are aging, I’m 71. Doctors like you all on UTUBE have been immensely helpful to me my on journey of trying to help my many illnesses in a healthy way, not through prescriptions only. Became disabled over 20 years ago. Thank you for your much needed information.

Such a lovely interview guys thank you for your work!
And yes it is so important to work in a’ whole way’ to help health promotion! It is indeed important to address neuro système and all the other functions ….more understandable since knowledge grows and shows how that works all together in our amazing bodies and how that underlies everything that we go through all the time, and thus to find ways to support those different aspects and systems with simple tools like whole food/ nutritious movement (you should check the work of Katy Bowman) cardiac coherence (even more easy then the wonderful mindfulness 🧘🏾‍♂️ way of life) etc….. to address stress (perceived or real as both are existing) ….
    It’s a journey!
    Thank you ☺️

Are heart disease and diabetes synonymous even if your WFPB?

It works. The problem we are having now is we cannot find organic. The chemicals are wreaking havoc on our gut system. We moved to a different country. We would have to drive 3 to 4 hours to get to an organic farm.

We were on this life changing way of eating for about 4 years. My husband had completly reversed his type 2. I am a type 1. All of my a1c and cardiac issues were perfect before we moved.

Gentlemen, I have a question: If the body has an unlimited capacity to store body fat, why is there a fat threshold where people start storing fat in the other organs, thereby causing IR/T2D? This always confuses me.

Way too much talk about Covid and not much about the actual title 😑
