You should check out Secret Service's "Oh Susie" and "Flash in the Night". We need some Eurodisco up in this! Big classics and cool music videos from Stockholm.
If Jonathan Rollins ever want to create his very own Melodifestivalenbidrag he first needs to check out and learn from the song Värsta Schlager with Linda Bengtzing and Markoolio which should give him all the ingrediens needed to make a Swedish Classic!
When Harpo was interviewed in the history of the hit song, he told that when he worked as a stage worker , he met the man who was the inspiration for the lyrics on moviestar. However, he never revealed who it was Do not know if this Nissan Primera / Moviestar commercial was broadcast in countries other than Sweden ruclips.net/video/GTcSRNeDUNk/видео.html
I remember that summer. I hung out with a bunch of raggare and even visited one of them in prison, where he was for a month for misshandel (assault and battery?). The summer when I tried weed and was sorely dissapointed, I just fell asleap every time. We played the cassette of the album in the car(s) several times every night and I still know all the lyrics of all the songs. For the fist time in my life I belonged somwhere. For a time. A bittersweet memory. On that album is also Motorcycle Mama, also a road song.
Great reactions! You wanted some older classics to react to, I can recommend this list: Omkring tiggarn från Luossa Hootenanny Singers 1972 Augustin Brita Borg 1959 Köp inte en zebra Povel Ramel 1946 Var är tvålen? In some way I have forgot this song, or maybe more the artist, I woulnt be able to tell who the artist are if I just hear the song. Crap of me, I really liked it as kid to. A lovel song it are.
Wish you'd turn down the volume of the background music. I find it difficult to concentrate on what you say and often skip the beginning and end of your videos. It's a pity, because I really like the channel.
yeah horses are dangerous i dont understand how people can play with these animals get a cat or a dog you might get a bite horses wanna play they take your head of . You a Moviestar to i saw you in a movie yesterday snälla kriminella it was very funny :)
Fabulous song! Swedish pop is so good. And Frida from ABBA on the backing vocals adds another layer. Brilliant to still hear this song today!
Yes, it's really a nice little song. Thank you for choosing it. I like how you enjoy it too...with your wonderful smile. Many greetings 😊from Germany.
It's a happy song, a feelgood song. A song that pops up and you start singing it out of the blue.
This is such a nostalgic song to me, always used to listen to it in the car with my grandfater.

At last! This was a big hit in Australia when I was about 15. He was such a fantastic weirdo.
I loved this song as a kid but I actually didn't know it was Swedish until today. I'm learning quite a bit from this channel lol.
Blev ganska populär utomlands också
”Lasse Holm - Canneloni Macaroni” måste man ju få se en reaktion på!
Lasse Holm with Sikta Mot Stjärnorna
Definitely a banger, it gets stuck in your head and you learn the lyrics in a minute which makes it easy to sing along to.

but if he is planning on winning the whole eurovision, perhaps he should instead listen to love love peace peace by måns zelmerlöw and petra mede

I found myself singing along 🤣. Been so long since I listened to this, got childhood memories. I got my first kiss to a harpo song, honolulu haha

If you haven't already, look up Hooked on a feeling with Skifs!
Do you hear Frida from ABBA in the chorus? Her voice is so distinct.
Thank you for another great video reaction, this one is a gem from my childhood❤
Frida sings backing on this, gives a lift
That chorus would be a mad sample! Man I NEED royalty! Bless.
I actually love a song with Harpo that I think is quite unknown, on the other side of the Atlantic.
It's a litle bit of David Bowie (of the "Stardust"-era) style in Harpos singing.
There was a perfect ad film for a car (don t remember which one) which had a great sense of humor with this song. About 15 years ago maybe.

Havent heard this in yeeears! Also I'll def make sure to come visit ur show :)
This one should have made it worldwide if Sweden had known back the how to do promotion, lol. It is a banger, you villain, lol
70s Europop is SOOOOO catchy.
"Hey Baberiba" med Rockfolket/Burken... en klassiker till din spellista. ;-) ... annars "Flottarkärlek" med Snoddas. Båda på Svenska.
Hey Baberiba! THAT’s a classic!
harpo marx, the longago marx-movies, the mute harp-player
Yes, that’s the origin of the name Harpo!
You think you are a movie… Star. Such an ear worm.
Boten Anna. Ah, the summer of 2006 ☺️
Den påminner lite om "Where do you go to my lovely" och "you're so vain".
Yes, it really has the same feel as ”Where do you go my lovely” 👍
Wish you'd turn down the volume of the background music. I find it difficult to concentrate on what you say and often skip the beginning and end of your videos. It's a pity, because I really like the channel.
I totally agree. Skip the background music. With slightly impaired hearing, I sometimes find it difficult to hear what you say.
Gammal svensk synth Lustans Lakejer:Diamanter
Don't know if you've ever done anything with Weeping Willows or their lead singer Magnus Carlsson? Broken promised land for example.
Ted Gärdestad "Come give me love"
You should listen to "Sayonara" with Harpo
Harpo will be in så mycket bättre
Try Takida - Curly Sue
You need to listen to Secret Service - Flash in the night …
Yes, I should own my own jet, you owe me as much
Harpo toured with Ted Gärdestad
I think he was inspired of David Bowie when he sang "Movie"
It's a diss track, so of course it's not a banger! An unusual sounding diss track
RIP to Biz Markie

You should have listend to the Swedish version of the song. Much better than this version.
