    I grew up on a dairy in the 60s & 70s ..wish we'd have had a self stacker .. 3 boys and a 2 ton 56 Chevy ( from the salt mines in Idaho..if that gives you an idea of it's condition 🤦‍♂️🤣)

    I had a 1969 120F. I named her Gertrude. Ran her for years at large sand & clay pit. The guys would say "Merin is out riding Gurtude somewhere in the back". Finally replaced her with a JD 770. Power everything. Named her Terry Hatcher.... my wife was not amused

    I'm up here in Washington state and have been curious about the twin pak for quite some time. I know it depends on the hay, but what's the quality of the bales like? Density, cut edges, consistency ect?

    Do you bale round bales or just the lil squares? I am in Oklahoma and we do round bales, easier to feed to bigger herds. Nothing fancy just mainly prairie grass, clover, and purple vetch lately.

      West coast California Arizona Nevada pretty much only use square bales. I’ve never seen a round baler in California yet lol

      For dairies we use big squares. I 3x4 mostly and some 4x4. Small bales are for horses and smaller cattle operations

      Seems a very simplistic way to bale hay by popping them out in singles, very labour intensive. 👎

      @@themayorofdipshittery3646 hahaha. It’s loaded into small vehicles. It is very labor intensive. It’s like beer. You can buy a keg, but do you have the equipment to handle it? If you don’t, you buy by the can.

    Ask your granddad if he remembers a farmer from Glendale named Walace Hole.

      Glendale in the '50s was much like Buckeye that you are now facing. Wallace Holes Farm was swallowed up by Glendale. Same thing is happening in the west valley right now. Good farm land lost forever to warehouses and tracks of houses with leaky roofs. I fear this is the future for the Buckeye area.
