If you have a Saeco Easy it doesn't have a cleaning mode or a pre-ground mode. But you can go into test mode, cycle the brew group manually, and run the pump for 20 seconds.

The side door opens immediately after giving the brew order, because the brew unit comes out from its place pushing the door out.
