Onboard video of the Alp Racing 650 A/PF 'Asymmetric Aero' Triumph land speed racing bike at the El Mirage dry lake in Southern California, it currently holds four SCTA world records and two national AMA records. #alpracingengines
Only some 1350cc and larger displacement same class land speed racing bikes are faster.
The official record speed of 175.625 MPH has been achieved with a open bike with no fairing on a naturally aspirated engine. It is the worlds fastest triumph in its class.
“A/PF” class designation stands for “Special Construction / Pushrod Fuel Engine”
The high performance pre unit Triumph engine is built / tuned by Alp Sungurtekin, no other 650cc pushrod engine in LSR history has achieved what this motor has within the 2015 race season. The Land Speed Racing frame is also custom designed and fabricated by Alp Sungurtekin in Los Angeles, California.

Wow, in the 70s I had a Triumph pre unit. It was scary at 75.

probably get a couple more MPH if you take the GPS off. Less weight, wind resistance. ;-)
Nice work getting the bike to do that. It must have taken a lot of time and effort.
