Listen to the songs you like or an album of other people’s beats then. Scrutinize what makes you like what you hear and apply that to your beat. Steal the drum pattern and make a different 808 bassline or vice versa. Then you can at least see if the bounce is right by predicting what you expect to hear. If something is off fix it. Another thing is don’t rush. It takes a while to get the right vibe in your beats. If you think another preset would make the best better switch it.
