I came across Pastor Stephanie a month ago, and my relationship with God has changed. I can’t stop watching her sermons.

You gave me the courage to own up to something that’s in my life to my father. I held back from saying it because I was scared, scared for lack of stability and security and what not. In saying it, I trust that God will provide and he won’t leave me stranded. I never want lie or withhold my true position in life to hide away from shame, the truth always comes out. I was recently hurt by someone I love in a very deep way and in a weird way, confessing made me realize that sometimes we hide things because we are afraid to be ashamed and we lie and manipulate situations to make things appear in a way that they really aren’t to hide our true selves because it’s embarrassing to be in that position. I prayed many nights to get the courage to tell my dad and maybe he also prayed many times to be honest. God always reveals a character. I truly pray to forgive like God because I should have believed God the 100 times he showed me and he also revealed my character to me and the people around me. I’m learning to be a better person too so I will live by his word, “let the one without sin cast the first stone.”
