You demonstrated this module better than the company who made it. I've had it for a while, and watching your video tonight, I learned a bunch of new things. Thank you.
These modules get no coverage like this. Are they too much 'do everything ' modules, where to start? I wish there was more videos like this, so much I've considered getting a few ideas out there for people to check out. These are great ideas. Thanks 🙏

Great show case of this amazing module. Was thinking of getting the digitakt, but this seems like more fun. Thank you
I went for the micro due to HP and the ability to multisample plugins. Now I can play chords in my eurorack. I use deluge for sequencing the Bitbox via midi in :). There are lots of features I like. One is the pitch which sounds great and other one is that you can change all your samples while sequencing them.
Thanks for this, gave me some new ideas on how to use split with bitbox (I've not had it long). I went for the Micro as most things I want to multisample are Midi so the Midi out was a big plus. Also it's much cheaper than its bigger brother, and as I trigger many of the pads over midi from the sequencer, it leaves all 8 inputs available for modulation or a few gates if they're triggered from some random sequence. I agree though, so much fun to be had with these modules!
I decided on the Micro for the multisampling features. To me, the UI is still a little clunky, but it’s so worth it for such a powerful module. Great vid ☺️
Great to see a pro at work on the Bitbox... There are so few BbMk2 guides out there. I'd love to see you do one which explores the use of the internal and external LFO and maybe external envelopes to control the sample playback!:)
Hi Jade! Just got hold of a BitBox Micro and it's fab! I have only just started to scratch the surface, but I have to agree with everything you have said in this video. Great job! Thanks for the useful hints an tips!Definitely going to check out the Mulitsampling next. Big Hugz!
I went with the Micro because of the midi out so I could multi sample some of other hardware easily. Launch pad pro mk3 makes a good companion for it too! You can take the 3.5mm midi out front the launch pad and send it straight to the midi in on the Micro
So the Bitbox Micro actually doesn't have any alternative firmwares, but you do get the MIDI IN/OUT in comparison with the MKii. Both awesome devices, which one would you opt for?
Brilliant (as usual). I love my Bitbox micro, it was the first module I bought. BTW, I'd suggest you also look at the setting - I think it's - 'start sample'. I see yours is set at '1'. Try changing it, you'll be surprised what happens - I think you can even modulate that parameter. Lastly, the last thing you should mention (or try) is editing the size of the sample - start and end points.
OMG... a Bitbox Mk2 in TWO Eurorack form factors? Am I seeing things? This is amazing! I'd love to spend a few days working with either of them. I'd get one if I didn't already have an SP 404 MkII and a Morphagene module. But if I ever decide to do gigs with just my modular case, it would be worth it.
Just came back to this video for a different reason... A used WMD Metron has popped up in my local market, and I'm thinking it might be a great addition to my drum case, then I see you using it with Bitbox... Bingo. Grids and Euclidean Circles with the Erica LXR, Metron with Bitbox, with some logic/delay/switching modules in the mix, and there's pretty much nowhere the drums can't go. Now I just ned to sit on a street corner with a sign that reads "Need extra HP."
Don't be put off, buy a cheap skiff or small custom case, possibly try second hand modules at first so you can see if it suits you Price of entry to make a basic synth could be just a few hundred dollars
Honestly if you picked up a bit box micro and a midi sequencer you've already got a complete set up. If you can afford that anything extra on top will just be icing on the cake.
JAde, thanks for this very clear video, it adds greatly to other demos as Loopop's. I was wondering about the pitch, does it affect the length, and what's the quality like when you pitch full down or up. Does it sound digital, or is it 'Paul stretch like' smooth?
Hey Jade - hella inspiring video!! At 7:30 did the bitbox create those slices themselves or did you go in an edit the slice markers? Curious how good it is at auto-slicing and how much adjustment is usually needed
Great video, i love mine. I do believe you cannot load the toolbox firmware on this hardware as it is different. The toolbox hardware is only compatible with the laser firmware and vice versa.
Great sampler.. Only problem with Modular is its a never ending story of HA! I just found the game changing module! Ha ha.. lovely system you are building though.
Your tutorial is the only one I've seen that shows the random slice selection, which is BONKERS! So perfect for generative patches
That jam was such a slow burn at first you blind sided me when it finally hit 🔥 DAMN 💜 Love your videos, love your style. So glad you're here!
Great overview and examples - THANKS! 😁🙏👊

Bravo ! Thank you !
Thank you for actually making GOOD music to show off a module, unfortunately this isn't too common 😂

This is my favourite music channel on youtube as of late, I like the straightforward format don't change ✨️

wow those effects opened it up. Thanks for this video
I love you melodic vibes and the flavor of your drums. Your approaching Erorack in such a unique way.
15:20 really cool

Great demo Jade!
The new firmware 2.2.3 now supports 'removing' sounds from the master out too! 'Master' will now work as 1+fx and 2+fx without the outputs 3-8.

great vid once again! I have the Micro and its one of my favorite modules- a must have in a small case.

Sweet, you're getting really good.

Can you break down all of the modules in your rack, why you picked them and their functions.

Once again, I'm curious about Modular but scared of the cost of entry. Thanks for sharing on this platform.

Love your vids! What are you using for an audio mixer here / these days?
Making it look really simple. 🎶🎶🎶🎶

That one I did nothing to, auto slice!
Woah your modular music has seriously improved jade!
Did you try the Assimilator from Rossum ?
very cool
Awesome video

Truely inspiring. BTW, what mixer are you using? ❤
This is the Cosmix.
hey thank you for the video! what is the sequencer you are using?
Thanks, the WMD Metron!
Jesus bless this channel!
Great sampler.. Only problem with Modular is its a never ending story of HA! I just found the game changing module! Ha ha..
lovely system you are building though.
dope sista !
I had a synthbox and ran the bitbox firmware. It's great, but I went with the squid 🐙 in the end
smooooth
Dooooooope ❤
Hello, its possible to record vocals?
yes
Fuck JAde this video is so dope.
Nice 💯💯💯💶👍
Thanks for not slice the video , it’s such frustrating when I want follow a tutorial
You are doing great things with the Bitbox but for my money the Rossum Assimil8or is a superior sampler
My main complaint with the bitbox micro is how long it takes to "type" in file names. There's got to be a better way...
You can rename everything on your computer.
@@iamjamessmith i could make bread instead of music too
@@GeorgeLocke not following you there, bud, but cheers.
