@@realdocloco Lol. I heard Tils already has a B-M shrine in his dungeon & he bows to their eternal flame each day. 🤔I'm only 80% sure that story is true tho :)
I went to the show tonight. Let me tell you, it was intense!! And the show didn't start until 1130. We thought it would be a shortened set due to having a local band open and the show at Lollapalooza. But it was a full Okyuji, 90 min, including omajinai time. We were so surprised. There were only a few hundred there, so it was very intimate.
@@Parker-- I bet that was an awesome view of Kanami going full Mincho. And of course being hypnotized by Saiki. I was right behind the two guys with the yellow hats, one had a propeller. I was slightly to Miku's right, between her and MISA. I almost fell out when they played Sayonakidori. And I'm pretty sure she called me out during Omajinai Time. Don't worry, I was doing my best! ぽ
I like that "filter mic" technique too. They use it right, where it acts like an establishing shot at the beginning of a movie to set the scene and draw you in. They have the advantage of having all five members basically from the very beginning. They know and trust each other. They've meshed into a solid unit. I think most other bands add and drop and swap members over the years. Each time it takes awhile to find that unity, but Band-Maid just hones it and refines it. They are a joy to listen to. Like a fierce tiger. By the way, this is an anime closing, it's so unclear if it will be part of an album.
Well said.👍 And as we know, B-M's anime songs are often a bit more intense but i liked Mincho's Adictone-esque tone on this. Her Eventide octave harmoniser was on vacation, YAY! 🙆♂️
It's called Distortion. It has a natural compression. The reason it's short is it was a commissioned closing theme song for the Netflicks anime Kengan Ashura.

Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, Brewsum!
@@GaryHolloway-810 Talk about "starring roll...." We need a Maid TV series. It would be so funny cause you know they'd keep their true deadpan, charming, innocent, and humorous character. Great reaction. Band-Maid also played yesterday (Friday Aug. 4th) at Lollapalooza in Chicago - it was live streamed on HULU and there are a couple videos on YT of this whole show - here's one (may not stay up for long) - ruclips.net/video/C_0rMkU3dRc/видео.html
