I don't know of another band that has the relationship with their fans like Band Maid !!!!! I got the opportunity to see them last year and it made me feel like I was 18 again. The high continued for a few days !!!!!!
The band’s emotional connection to their audience is due in part to how they got here. Their label was about to shut them down when a Facebook post lead the THRILL video to go viral, giving them worldwide exposure. Recharged, they made new songs, new albums, and toured the U.S. and Europe. Their quest for World Domination was about to manifest, and was going to kick off with a concert at BUDOKAN, a dream milestone for any musician, when the Pandemic shut everything down, dashing their dream, and killing their hard fought momentum. But they regrouped, redoubled their efforts, and redirected their campaign to the Internet for three years, making new music and new videos, broadcasting live performances, and winning over new fans. In 1992, they began touring again, up and down Japan, snd visiting the U.S. three more times. This song at Yokohama Arena last November capped their year-long 10th anniversary tour, and was the validation of their unbroken ten-year struggle to achieve the improbable. In the live stream of that concert, we could see the emotions well up in each member of the band as the played ENDLESS STORY.
Brewtiful, this is the one official live video I hoped you would react to. The official live video "Endless Story" from the 10th Anniversary Tour finale in Yokohama has made so many of us Maidiacs (old geezers like me) have raised goosebumps and tears in our eyes. Kanami stated that she wrote the song as an "anthem" song that the fans could participate in. She nailed it! Every great song creates an emotional connection between the musicians and the audience. This is one of those songs. If this song is the final song of the next Band Maid concert that I attend, I'll probably become a sobbing old man.
This was the last song of the last concert of their 10th anniversary tour, hence the emotional 'thank you' to their fans. I may have shed a tear or two... Also, when Kanami composed "Endless Story" four years ago she dreamt of playing it here at Yokohama Arena! Also, she said the song is only complete with the crowd. The first ever live concert Akane the drummer ever went to was in this hall, she said she never thought she would one actually play there!
I may be a crusty old retired construction electrician, whose seen a lot in life, both good and bad, but this performance always make my eyes leak. Even though it is a positive, uplifting song. Why is that? The power of these women transcends a lot of boundaries. I just feel so much pride for these women.
Band Maid are genuine and loving people. If their music was average, they’d still be a cool band. But because their music is so exceptional, they are in rarified air For your next reaction, I’d like to suggest “Daydreaming,” which is another ballad-y uptempo song with interesting lyrics. The music video is the best way to be introduced to the song ❤
Thanks again from Japan 有難う。I was there in Yokohama Arena with tears of joy and sadness as well to say good-bye to the ladies at last. The moving finale of the 3-hour-40-minute long show. (33 songs) A little off topic. I went to see Band-Maid's ACOUSTIC concert held in Shibuya on March 20. All of 14 songs performed there were amazing. The finale of the show "Daydreaming" was especially breathtaking for me. In addition to the beautiful singing, kudos to FIVE instrumental players ! (Saiki on piano)
Band-Maid never fail, but the emotion here is off the charts - that is how you show you love your fans, just as much as they love you. How Saiki didn’t completely loose it (close as it was) is a sign of her professionalism, and Akane I think wasn’t far off. Magical 🤘🎸🐺
Thank you for letting us see the lyrics, it helps to understand the song better for us that don't speak the language!!!!! Thank you for reacting to this song, very emotional!!!!!
I think "before Band-Maid" everyone thought that rock music should be hard, aggressive and mostly express the anger or sadness that you feel inside, but they, Band-Maid, have changed that theory. They bring us pure joy and happiness along with this very impressive, interesting, complex music. It's so precious. Thanks for sharing!
The rest of the band is so exceptional it's easy to overlook the lyrics. I don't speak Japanese, and I'm not _that_ familiar with Japanese history and culture; but after listening for a couple of months I figured if the rest of the music was so well thought-out maybe I should dig into the lyrics a little. I'm sure I don't get a lot of the cultural and literary references, but like you said, the lyrics unfold like a story and it is plainly obvious that Kobato is surprisingly deep for a small pigeon. There are literally no weak points in this band! Well, it's okay because surely they're a bunch of self-centered egotistical slimeballs, right? Well, no actually. They like each other, they've worked very hard to get where they are, and they realize it's a privilege to do what they do and they are grateful. I guess the worst thing you can say about them is MISA drinks whiskey and Miku says "po" all the time. Can you possibly forgive them for that? lol
The future- Miku publishes a book of her lyrics. Saiki becomes and international singer. Kanami composes music for major productions. Misa and Akane to set up bass and drums schools.
This was am incredible send off for their 10th Anniversary. So impressed how well Saiki performed this song at the end of an over 3 hour concert, her voice was just as strong as it was in the first song. "This struggle is the mark of life." Truer words have never been spoken.

Every time i see this video i wanted to give Sai-chan a bear hug
Great reaction. I attended this concert and the emotion level was through the roof. Not going to lie, I shed a few tears along with thousands of other Masters and Princesses in Yokohama Arena. Love the song and their heart felt gratitude for their fans. Which is why we love them. After Saiki said her thank you and walked down the walkway, they created/added an additional verse specifically for this show. "For making today Possible. For letting our voices join together, Thank you! From now, always. We'll never forget this view shared with you." 😭 How can you not love these ladies. The emotional connection is real. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
Hello Miss Beautiful, I mean Brewtiful, well I guess they both apply. I hope you are having a wonderful day. This concert was a really special one for our favorite Maids. This was their 10th Anniversary tour finale and I think it was their largest crowd to date, they were supposed to perform at Budokan (which is bigger) a few years ago, but the concert was cancelled due to the pandemic. The concert was over 3.5 hours long and they performed around 33 songs, if I remember correctly, and they livestreamed the entire concert. I watched the live stream several times, but I still ordered the video so I can watch it as often as I want. There were a lot of really special moments and surprises during the concert. If you haven't reacted to the live version of "Hate?" from this concert yet, you really should, and I'd advise paying a lot of attention to the lyrics within the song. I think you would really like Trident, another band from Japan. I'd suggest either "Spoopy" or "Cry Out" or maybe "Kick Ass" as good videos to watch. Hanabie (pronounced roughly as Hah-Nah-Bee-Eh, it's four syllables) would be another great one for you to try. "We Love Sweets" or "Pardon Me I Have to Go Now" would be a good starting point for them. I know you have reacted to Nemophila, so I won't suggest them. Rolling Quartz "Fearless" would be another one I think you would like, although it tends to be a little more on the pop-side of rock. Rolling Quartz is from Korea, and I think you would enjoy their personalities. Please take very good care of yourself and have an awesome week!
Thank you for your reaction. This is a wonderful song, full of passion and feeling. Watching this live (on live stream), it hit really hard, just how much Band-Maid loves their fans (and loves reaction videos).

whatever tomorrow brings, whatever the future holds, no giving up- this struggle is the mark of life
This shows how much the fans love Band-Maid, and that Band-Maid loves their fans back just as much.
I don't know of another band that has the relationship with their fans like Band Maid !!!!! I got the opportunity to see them last year and

Miku is noted as a highly recognized lyricist in Japan!
No thank YOU amazing BAND MAID!!! You are the BEST!!!All your fans around the globe love you very, very, very much!!!

Miku the rhythm guitar and backup singer is the lyricist poet.
Miku is a POet 🕊️

Yes, their gratitude is on another level. The impact is always there not matter if it's high or low or fast or slow. Peace. 6.01
I love Kanami's melody in the back on this song

Everybody Goes ! 😭🤧 Great Reaction, thanks! 🙂
The sad truth 😢
The future- Miku publishes a book of her lyrics. Saiki becomes and international singer. Kanami composes music for major productions. Misa and Akane to set up bass and drums schools.
Epic concert...blu-ray coming to me soon 👌❤🤘🤘🤘
This video surprises me. Usually it's Akane that has tears streaming down her face, in Endless Story anyway. She seems to get particularly moved.
The tears were from the song before which was about their journey. The tears were replaced by the joy seen here.
Great reaction. Observations were spot on
Thank you!!! 🫶🏻
Life is Beautiful with Band-Maid 🔥❤️

Such a powerful, amazing song to end the night with. Band Maid truly loves and appreciates their fans and they show it.
I'm not crying. You're crying. Have you reacted to Don't You Tell ME from this same concert? It is pretty epic!

There is no one like BAND-MAID. But this was so emotional, especially because it's the last song of the last show of the 10th Anniversary Tour.
i love u
my fav song i love u
The Maids are the best band on the planet
ur cool

Do you know why cell phones aren’t allowed at concerts? I never knew that! Thanks for sharing!
There wasn't 17,000 there. It was around 9,000. Still, the largest show Band-Maid has ever done - but it wasn't anywhere near 17,000.
"Anyone like Band-Maid?" Sorry! There are none! Not even close!
