    I love the mix VCA as a final failsafe to make absolutely sure the Master Bus stays happy :) You are a natural born teacher, the absolute best of any I've seen on RUclips.

    Hi. You could do a video on making VCA strips in Cakewalk. I couldn't find one on your channel. Simply create an audio track console strip named *.VCA and use the Group Manager on the group's faders and the new VCA strip. To automate the VCA fader don't forget to use the group manager on the WRITE buttons in the track view. This would be useful as some cakewalk users might think they are missing out on a VCA strip and not be forced to go to protools or whatever. Maybe cakewalk should add a VCA facility? Anyway, Cheers.

    Two comments: One tip I like is to create three reverb and three delay busses. The reverbs and delays have short, medium and long effects. As you're mixing you send to one bus at a time to get a ballpark idea of which works best. Second I miss the female voice count down you used in earlier videos.

    As always, you are a great educator!!!! Does Cakewalk by Bandlab have a VCA? Thanks, Jack

    cool, what Uku plugin are you using... or should I say do you know of any good free Uku plugins.

      On this one it's a real Uke! I can play a little. Have you tried any Uke plugins?

      @@CreativeSauce I can't find any free ones :(
      and if you have not guessed yet... If I can't get it for free... I don't use it.
      I don't have a Uku, but if you send me a load of sound files and I'll make us a free one using SFZ

    So if I have, say 5 instrument tracks and they are all using sylenth for example, I don't have to have 5 plugins? I could just put sylenth in track 1 and access it for 2,3,4 and 5? With different presets in that plugin?

    • @CreativeSauce
      @CreativeSauce  5 лет назад +1

      No, with a virtual instrument like Sylenth, you need to have a plugin for each track.

    • @matthewprince5668
      @matthewprince5668 5 лет назад

      @@CreativeSauce what's the point of it showing the other plugins in tabs at the top of a plugin then? When I put a plugin in each track and I click say track 1 and open the plugon, it has tabs at the top showing all the other plugins on the other tracks?

    • @CreativeSauce
      @CreativeSauce  5 лет назад

      @@matthewprince5668 yeah, that's just so you can easily navigate from one plugin to another, without closing and opening the window.

      @@CreativeSauce am I missing something or , why would somebody need to do that? Especially as my sylenth is always sylenth blah blah so can't even see the difference. Can't rename that instance of the plugon so don't know that would.help? Thanks for the replies btw

    I am working in Cakewalk by Bandlab. Is there any way to move the track order up/down? I have many tracks but I want to add another midi track as second line. The only way seems to duplicate the track but when it is the midi drum which read by the drum map then the duplicated track has no separate input. It is just a clone.
