Don't say "Hello" to the teacher. Tell him, "Hey, bro! What's up? How's the wife?".
And only then will there be a good relationship with him.
@みなこ it’s a joke
@みなこ bruh.... Does every Japanese like u? I mean u don't have a Humour.
My Japanese teacher’s name is Karen 😂
Yo bro 💀
I’ll try it to my teacher😂
I, Japanese use “Konnichiwa” to people like not so close or older people. For example, I go to community center to learn English and every time I meet them, I say “Konnichiwaaa-“
I'm pretty sure konnichiwa is formal so using them when greeting close friends makes it sound like you arent friends
@@m1racul0a. No, hajimemashite is formal and it is only ever used the first time you meet somebody, it is part of a self introduction. It literally means "Let's begin [our relationship], but is roughly akin to the English "Nice to meet you".
@@m1racul0a.?? wdym I took Japanese for my A levels, hajimimashite is used as an introduction for the first time, you never say it to the same person again
It’s the opposite for me, I’m English and trying to learn Japanese, Korean, and Spanish
In Croatia We say ti for friends and family but for formal and elderly people we say vi and they both mean you
I think that to friends or relatives you say “Yahoo!” To greet them but when its teachers or elders you say “Konichiwa” to have respect on them.
So Yahoo is casual and Konnichiwa is formal

Me on a random day in my friend group
*Greetings*
Greetings to you my associates, we may now begin our session of social interaction.
Got it. I will greet all of my friends like I am a a cute anime teenage girl.

@@MidzukiHaru lol
I'd rather say just "おす" or "よう". these are very common way to greet between my friends imo. It depends on where you live but at least in Tokyo people say like them.
So basically, say Konnichiwa when your speaking formally .
Konnichiha
Honestly, "konnichiwa" is solemn ever used, regardless of the setting. Students will usually greet their teachers with "ohayogozaimasu," even if it's mid afternoon.
@@jpnpod8277 “konbanwa”
@@jpnpod8277 It's depend on People I guess.
I always say Konnichiwa to teacher even It's morning.
I feels like ohayogozaimasu is too long to say even for native speakers like me
@@Mixixxxww Konbanwa is for evenings. ''Good evening''.
That’s the same with French. You have ppl you are proper to and then casual ones

Your quick lessons are truly helpful thank you for creating them ❤
This only applies if you are under a certain age. Adults don't talk this way. If you reach a certain age, you don't use yaho at all, not ever. It's kid's talk. You use kon'nichiha also with friends and family.
I love this channel im learning japanese and i know some letters but i easily forget it lol

“Oh! Sensei, yahho!”
dumb ways to die:)
Yahho seems more feminine I think and men and boys use "yo"
Yes
I actually (and weirdly) expected the Malaysian/Indonesian "Selamat pagi" (the one who watches/ed Nichijou will understand, what I mean)
Yea
same opinion cause in anime its yahho for girls but for boys they use yo
Really? I use yo! a lot and I'm female. All my friends do in fact. I asked my friend from Japan and she said that more and more girls are using male/casual terms so it's pretty normal over there too.
that escalated quickly

I can't say imagine myself saying Yahoo without saying it like Mario
As a Japanese person this is pretty accurate ‘cause when I was little I was confused 🫤 between konichiwa and yaho
Its like hey hello hi whats up HELLO BROOOO
I think it’s more formal to say Konichiwa and informal to say yahow or how ever you write it. I’m taking Japanese lessons and it’s amazing to learn from other people who know the language. 💜
Random italian plumber: *YAHOO*
Thank you 🙏
Me : hey konnichiwa
My friend: "do you wanna fight me"
Another tip: when you're friends with a japanese for long
You don't need to greet them konnichiwa
Just greet them with "yo" and so on
I'm not Japanese, but I think "konnichiwa" if you're talking to someone formally like teachers or meeting someone new. And
"Yahho" is for like friends if you guys are talking informally like joking around. ( If I got anything wrong feel free to correct me since I'm not Japanese anyway!)
U can instead say "matane " to friends to say bye bye or "bai bai "
I saw nagatoro saying something like "jisu" and i think the translation is "what's up" correct me if im wrong 😊
Teachers slipper flies across the room! 😂
Just say "hello!" don't worry, they understand.
In Chinese we don’t say “Nihao” to close friend, instead we say “Oi”😂
Formal levels in Japanese are very important
i love their culture but i’m learning japanese and their language is kinda confusing lmao
Guys say “Osu!” ✋🏻
Shouldnt it be "otsu"?
Btw "yo" Can be used instead
@@thegate8985 there’s many ways
@@thegate8985 'Otsu' is more like showing appreciation for or recognising someone's hard work. I've seen it used for goodbyes a lot, though it can also be used as a greeting when, for example, meeting a friend after work. It's a shortened version of 'otsukare sama deshita/desu'.
As for 'ossu', it's actually a shortened version of 'ohayou gozaimasu', which is 'good morning'. It's a completely different greeting, not at all related to 'otsu'. I'm not sure if it can be used if it's not morning though.

I bet she's so close to her teacher so she said Yahoo 😂😂😂
It,s like Namaste, We dont say namaste to a friend but we can say namaste to a teacher
In Croatia when we want to be polite to elderly people or be formal we use vi but with friends and family we use ti and they both mean you
“YAHHO” giving me astolfo flashbacks..
HAPPY!! LUCKY!! KONNICHIWA BABY!!
Venti barbatos has been saying hello in my mind all this time
Yahho is a more feminine way of saying hello. I personally use it but you can look into other ways of saying hi.
Its not that English doesnt have these kind of things too, it changes things up based on friendship but its not so hard set. Like of I got a normal hello from a friend it wouldnt bother me or make me think they suddenly got more distant.
The complicated social aspects of Japanese make the language soooooo much harder for me to learn.
all these rules are so stressful. lol
"Yahoo" sounds quite informal and rather trendy. If a middle aged salaryman like me uses that with my coworkers I imagine I'll probably get odd stares with a dash of "Kimoi". It will be like the "Hello, fellow kids" meme.
Anything else I could use that's more appropriate to my age?
Guys konichiwa has a meaning saying hi to strangers but if you say yahk hooo it means as friends there's difference u need to understand Japanese can be hard 😅
Next is dont breath when u see a japanese or when ur in japan
I am new to japanese i think the message she is trying to say is that in japanese u r either formal or informal so u should be formal around stranger and informal around friends but i am not so sure pls correct if i am wrong
