Aivars is such an underrated Strongman. Such a nice and positive guy. He instantly became one of my favourite Strongmen after I first saw him in a WUS comp.
my gym here in Germany has the same brand of plates Aivar's has, so seeing you guys warming up with 3 reds on each side while I was over the moon when I squatted with my first red felt even crazier than usual
Kind of the same with the leg press, watching them do 5+ reps at my 1 rep max like it was nothing...then adding a big man on top of that for more 9 more is ridiculous

As an Italian who moved to Latvia 5 years ago, I am constantly fascinated by this beautiful country and its people's connection to nature. Looking forward to the next episodes! P.S. Hereford is (by popular opinion) the best butcher in Riga! To the point that even restaurants mark their steaks as "Hereford steaks", as a high quality mark.
Holy shit man. This reminds me of Anthony Bourdain. I absolutely love the cultural aspect, and getting to know the other strongman. The quality is right there with anything I would watch on netflix.

I love this series and Martins is my favorite strongman. But the moments where we got to see him be funny and joke around were the best. I feel like the narration might be a little too serious. IMO, Martins should leverage his comedic ability more and then this series will really take off.
