A Flying Roadtrip is a quick car roadtrip you can do in one day! We (Becky and Ken) love seeing unique places around our home town and beyond. Local to Syracuse and Central New York State, we love to travel the Northeastern United States to find the best day trip destinations, amusement parks, museums, nature trails and delicious food in the region. Once in a while, we'll voyage out to other places too!

Maybe I’m too much of a skeptic but drinking pickle beer sounds as appealing as drinking the juice from a pickle jar 😅
It was surprisingly delicious- it was not what I was expecting at all!
How about pickle ice cream on a hot day? Or if it's a chilly day, maybe pickle soup? It couldn't be any nastier than pickle cotton candy! 🤣

Pittsburgh is great spot. We spent a day there in 2021 as part of a longer road trip. We'll definitely return for a longer stay ... maybe sooner now that we know they have a picklefest! 🥒Our cats, Maya and Pawley, love their pickle toys. 🤣🤣They've chewed through at least 3 or 4 of the small ones, which came from P-Mart, not P-burgh.
What's the significance of the skeleton hand holding the pickle on your T-shirts?
I'm still a little sad that we didn't get the pickle cat toys...
And we should have showed the backs of the shirts, too! That was a combination of sun/travel exhaustion oversight hahah. They were designed by a friend of Ken's as a kind of "Picklefest meets Are You Afraid of the Dark logo" crossover. They say "Pickle Lovers Society" on the back- she did a great job and our little dweeb selves were pretty excited about it. I think before our next road trip we should nap more. 😂
@@FlyingRoadtrips We wondered if there was a pickle-themed dark ride! 🤣They do sound like cool shirts. And there's no time for sleep when road-trip adventures are afoot! 🤣🤣
I have bad feeling about the pickle cotton candy as soon as you opened the container.
Good instinct there! That still sits on our kitchen counter two weeks later! 😅
