    Thank you Yvette for this video. I am in the process of getting a part time teaching position at a University to teach Field. This video was very helpful as you highlighted how to organize yourself and planning ahead.

    Thank you so much for this video. I really was looking into seeing that I don't have teaching experience. This really helped me, thanks!

    Thanks for your time. This was very helpful. The last adjunct position i went for had me fo a demo lesson in person. The students were the staff...talk about pressure!

      Wow, I had to do that before for an alternative high school. Luckily, the students were nice but looking back the pay was so low for all that they required during the interview process smh! Glad this was helpful.

    Should I use my regular resume or should I have a resume designated specifically for teaching purposes? I have no teaching experience.

      @LifeCoachYvette  2 года назад +11

      You should have a separate one for teaching. It can have little tweaks highlighting skills that instructors need like public speaking, training others, creating presentations, etc. I will make a video on that soon.

    I have a question. Did you design your own assignments or were assignments mostly pre planned. Including a syllabus.

      Great question! For these two courses I followed the syllabus the schools provided and had to come up with a few assignments. The course I teach now was setup for me and completely online (asynchronous)

    Do you recommend starting at the community college level?

      It really just depends on what’s available. I thought that’s where I would start but landed both at senior colleges. I would recommend reaching out to all and seeing what sticks
