How many new features can you add to a LiPo charger to be able to say it adds something new besides form factor and looks? Or rather, how many new features can you come up with? The ISDT 608PD is a quite interesting case over here. It’s just another small LiPo charger. Perfect for traveling. At the other hand, it solved one very important problem of almost all small and light chargers: power source! You can power it from USB-C and use any “Turbo” smartphone changer to charge your LiPos.
Plus, it has a smartphone app and is very small and light. Let’s take a look at the ISDT 608PD and let’s see what it offers.

Loved it for the one month it worked. Now it gives a warning that it can’t do balance charging anymore. No customer service has reached back to me. Pretty disappointed.
"It was good while it lasted"
Well... what can I say.... Sorry to hear that for sure
I have both the ISDT 608PT and SkyRC's B6neo. After a couple of months, I found that SkyRC's is much better in terms of ease of use. The user interface is easy to understand and straightforward. It looks good and is able to discharge and store batteries. I fully recommend SkyRC's B6neo
Pawel, I could not find where you mention that this charger is *unable* to do *storage* charging or discharging. I was extremely disappointed, as this means I cannot take only this charger on a trip. And after complaining once and again, they have not even allowed for storage charging only, which could be a reasonable trade-off.
I think the ISDT Q6 Nano is still the best low budget charger in the market. It costs the same of the 608PD, but it's more versatile. You could storage your batteries, discharge or destroy them. You cannot do any of these things with the 608PD. You just need a xt60->USB-C cable, and you could use it with any powerbank (45w or more).
I would keep it too. It is what it says on the tin!
I still use the ISDT Q6 Nano, I think it's UI is better than this new one.
I like the idea of the USB-C PD, so instead of throwing mine away and buying new one, I will make Adapter with PD trigger board to XT60
In then past there was temperature protection on the battery
How today the charger monitor the temperature of the battery?
it's worth saying that this charger can work as a power bank too, just connect the battery you would like to discharge, set the minimum voltage, like 3.8V per cell, and connect USB device
Watched this video and bought this charger......
It doesn't balance charge my batts very well cell voltages vary by a good margin
Imo I wss considering buying it as second charger few months ago I liked its price and usbc input, but the min charging current is 0.5A, i dont like interface and it lacks storage capability. For nearly the same price i got q6 nano which is still compact but it have got 0,1a min limit, have storage option and with cheap usb pd board could be used with usbc charger.
Nice. But i don't understand why in time where we are talking in terabytes of memory you have 5 memory slots.
Users do not need that many slots. If you ask me, majority will not use more than 2
Awesome review, Pawel! Thanks! 😊
But did they add storage charge to it?
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
There's a update coming for storage mode . But for as small as this charger is, I wouldn't recommend doing it. Takes big heatsinks to drain lipos which this charger doesn't have and would takes hrs and hrs to do.
@@Mikeylikesit1968 If you are discharging, yes, but sometimes you need to charge to get there.
@@MCsCreations makes sense, I think that's the update they were telling me
What charger would you recommend for a 14s11p battery?
Pulsar3+
Not this one for sure :)
Hi PS.
Can you do a VTOL/tailsitter setup guide?
Thx
This is coming as I got a VTOL frame recently

me too brother, I miss the sun. but hopefully on April 8 I will see it vanish for a few minutes. Im in the zone
Kinda reminds me of JB and his FPV know it all stuff...I hope you are honest about your reviews and actually use the stuff.....As he told me speedycrap was good to buy and I lost so much because of that hack.
All I ask is if you do reviews, use the stuff for 6 months and then tell us how good or bad they are...but anyone that gets stuff for free and doesn't actually use it daily has gotten to me.
Thanks for the videos as you put time and effort into spreading the FPV word!
What happened to your soeedybee stuff?
Super filmik pozdrawiam z rodzinką
Dzięki!
I would not call this one a future. Used it for month or two and gave it away almost for free. Disappointed with the user interface, with erroneous charging parameters it shows while charging. Also disappointed that it can not charge to battery store level.
To śmieszne.
Why would you recommend a charger without a storage charge function? You didn't even mention it.
Wrong. Charge at least up to 120W. Get the right hardware to review this.
You really didn't review this at all. You got free hardware and took an afternoon to make a video to keep it.
I'm really disappointed with this video and I can't follow a creator when they don't even try to honestly review a free item.
because it's a TRAVEL charger and I mentioned that enough times in the video. It's supposed to be small and light and charge some lipos when you traveling so you can fly more
