Kendall is one of my fav guitarist from the 80s. He is not a shredder, but very bluesy tasty.

Great clip. Kendall is a great interview. Funny how there's always more to these stories.
I think it was Lee or Lynch that made it sound like Ozzy head butted and fired Costa for no reason?
Upstaging Ozzy was a bold move lol. Ultimate Sin is a Great Album. One of Ozzie's best imho.

    Kendall always gives great interviews.
He's also on record as saying that George Lynch was on the L.A. scene doing the tapping technique before Eddie Van Halen.

Just an answer from the average EVH guy who hasn't got a clue...Just his swing and soloing out of this world,so many multiplatinum records are just a drop in the ocean...

Why are EVH fans so insecure about the tapping issue when it's brought up?!
EVH even admitted that he never invented tapping.
      EVH did great things.
He influenced a generation of guitar players.
EVH fans get over your insecurities.

You're right but his impact on more than just a generation has been bigger than Michael Schenker(my second favorit),George Lynch who's a monster and so many other...EVH has got it all, period.

@@rmgrmg2488 yet every conversation that I've ever seen where Lynch is mentioned as tapping before EVH...EVH fans get their panties in a bunch.

I love Great White they were always a cut above the rest of the L.A. bands with a blues based metal sound and Jack Russell was and is a great singer . Psycho City and Let it Rock are my favs

does anyone ever talk about brad gillis in the ozzy band? i know it was a short stint but would like to hear about it.
my favorite ozzy era is jake e. lee, love the randy rhoads era but much like the jake e. lee better, seems more polished and refined, "to me" that is the best era.

I have zero reason to believe that Sharozzy *isn't* petty enough to fire someone for no reason.

I could swear I remember an interview with Blackie, where he was asked why Tony Richards was fired; and his response was something like: he had bad breath...next question!

Don Costa brought his family to watch him play at the US Festival only to be headbutted by Ozzy & get fired from the band. Man, that's fucked up.....lol
