I believe it’s possible we’ve overlooked Sukuna’s true curse technique. Let me explain.
So the soul striking, possible soul swapping, ability is a learned ability through understanding the nature of the soul and with Yuki’s research. It’s a cursed technique rather than an innate ability; same as simple domain is a curse technique.
It is said that Yuji was made into the perfect vessel for Sukuna through some sort of compatability. But I think Yuji’s ability to consume cursed objects and take on their abilities is the true technique of Sukuna.
Sukuna is a devourer of sorcerers. He enjoys wringing them of their finest flavors, filleting and serving them up to be devoured, literally. Sorcerers have been known to soak their tools or remnants of their bodies heavily in their cursed energy, leaving behind their technique engraved upon it, the essence of their soul.
It would be fair to say Yuji is a “Soul devourer” or even “curse devourer” in the same sense Sukuna once was. Consuming cursed objects imbues him with their soul’s essence and awakens their technique. Same way I imagine Fuge does.
What’s more, humans and not sorcerers create cursed energy from their fear. I’m the heian era, sorcery was at its peak and all of the most powerful murderers were free to be uninhibited in their pursuit and expression of power. Humans were terrified and in awe of their power, even throwing festivals to appease Sukuna.
What many of us know now with Naoya Zenin as proof, sorcerers become the worst cursed spirits. The most powerful and malevolent, when killed without the use of cursed energy. What you may not know, is Seppuku originated in the heian era. It would not be a stretch to assume sorcerers would resort to killing themselves, granting themselves “honorable,” cursed deaths, wherein they transform into curses and continue to wreak havoc. And so perhaps consuming them wasn’t merely a means of pleasure or amassing power, but of assuring your enemies were soundly crushed and beaten beyond any hope of recovery.

@@ToastWeather Well, this isn't such a reach actually. Yuta is a descendant of a longstanding sorcerer family. It would not be unusual for him to have a technique rooted in similar practice. The techniques are only so different as the ideals of the users, yet vastly different as you point out. Case and point, Sukuna in theory wields the technique of other curse users he consumes, body and soul.
Yuta sees himself in others. He is essentially selfless, and believes love to be a truer from of strength than selflessness. Therefore by taking in from others, he gains their strength. Cleave may very well be engraved on sukunas body from years of use and practice with those same hands and fingers. But Yuta could not grasp sukunas personal essence to the fullest beyond a mimicry of cleave

Right after Prison Realm, Gojo met Kenjaku and Sakuna, if as you say 6E saw Sukunas real CT being storage then the theory that Sukuna eats people to gain CE and CT storing it seems probable. This may be why they arent leaving their dead bodies anywhere near Sukuna to eat. Uiui retrieving the bodies may not necessarily be to RCT them since clearly Gojo and Higuruma are dead (exception Yuuta) but to keep them away from Sukuna. Do you think the crew knows of Sukunas CT because Gojo told them? Do think Gojo met Sukuna and Kenjaku to measure them up then decide on the plan? The students know what Sukunas CT is and are pushing him to reveal it but are careful of its true intentions abilities.

@@wisespidey not necessarily, as we know from Yuuki and Kenjaku fight, sorcerers can have more than one CT. Sukunas CT can be C&D while his DE is what gives him the ability to store CTs. Because he used ◼ with Fuga, Fuga probably not originally one of his CTs. Or maybe it is and Sukuna can only use 1 at a time unlike Kenjkau who could use all 4 whenever

Another thing I find interesting is how people keep saying he’s not using his curse tools because he’s not afraid of the people he’s fighting. I’m sure there is definitely some truth to that but you can’t forget the very second Cashimo started flying towards him he got that lightning tool. He fought Gojo for adaptation not for winning, even Gojo was questioning why Sukuna was fighting like this why he wasn't using other CT
Gojo was actually wrong there, he thought that sukuna isn't using any other ct other than the one imbued in his domain.But that isn't the case, because sukuna was already using 10s amd adapting to his attacks and domain in the shadows, which six eyes wasn't able to perceive.
Unless we're reading a different Manga, he has been actively trying to beat the rest of the sorcerers fighting him but they've kept up pressure just as well even when they've fallen. After the Gojo fight he's constantly been getting pushed back more and more especially with help from Yuji and by Yuji himself.
You can point to Uraumes fluctuations in c.e but we already know its not disinterest causing this but is Yuji dropping Sukunas output and control whenever it goes up.
They're also things like use of bf, if he really had that much in store they'd be no use in amping yourself up against people you think too weak to fight and lately Yuji - a character he dislikes more than anyone else, has been absolutely handing it to him with no answer to slow down the continuous nerf he's receiving everytime he takes a hit.
With Gojo he fully fought to try and win, the adaptation was just the tool needed to do so and as already pointed out Gojos thoughts were likely due to not knowing Sukuna was using 10s instead of his c.t from the shrine.

Sekuna Technik might be something like minickery. Hear me out but notice how he got flames after he fought jogo, he got airwalk after he fought Maki in the first round, he performed something close to Gojo's infinity after defeated Gojo, that being coating his hand in slashes so that Yuta's blade couldn't reach touch him.
And he only seems to perform this "mimickery" after he has been having a fun fight.
There's definitely potholes to what am suggesting here but it's worth a taught
Sukuna didn’t get as badly impacted by Jacob’s Ladder because he felt it before and he ate a piece of Angel. So if he eats you to get your technique is it possible just getting a piece of you makes him able to tank your ability when used on him.

Random Question: Is it possible for Sukuna to steal Maki's body and still use cursed energy on top of Heavenly Restriction? Even Kenjaku?
Yuta awakens six eyes and gets a power up taking him to honored one level rivaling or surpassing gojo's power. Yuji after awakening (BM full power) becomes 100% special grade level and forces sukuna to bring out the big guns, sukuna almost kills yuji but honored one yuta pulls up to save yuji. Yuta takes the lead in battling sukuna as yuji provides support pushing sukuna and earning sukuna's respect. Sukuna gains his full power back and decides to go all out killing yuji in the process (not really). Yuta and sukuna 1v1 but sukuna is to powerful and has pushed yuta into a corner. Yuji eventually goes through a second awakening that allows him to understand sukuna's CT elevating yuji to honored one status. Yuji takes the lead and yuta provides valuable support as they turn the tide against sukuna. Sukuna was about to do something crazy but then...

Btw sukuna is currently nerfed to the ground, even before this he explicitly stated their reinforcements and output isn’t as high as ryu and he needs full contact to deal significant damage, 15 finger sukuna can cleave right through ryu, meaning the Sukuna they were fighting was weaker than 15. There is also the fact yuta himself outright stated ryu was a troublesome opponent and he couldn’t hold back, he even knocked rika out, and don’t say yuta didn’t try because he explicitly mentioned he did, yet 15 finger sukuna blizted and one shot ryu. Yuta also mentioned if sukuna wasn’t nerfed he would had instantly killed them all. He never stated jogo was on a high level sorcerer all he said was he wasn’t half bad. Yorozu was a strong sorcerer of the heian era but we had a small flashback, there were many sorcerers like her and even stronger than her and sukuna defeated every single one.

I hate the narrative the Sukuna held back against Gojo. It's dumb and not supported much by him or the story when he used everything in his arsenal that could affect Gojo. He went out of his way to get 10S and suppress Megumi soul to fight Gojo. He was scared of losing and dying twice in the fight. Used a binding vow or some sort of automatic command to release Mahoraga if knocked out. He screamed for Mahoraga to save him twice and literally wanted to jump him.
Gojo knows about Sukuna's transformation. He was saying Sukuna was holding back because he wasn't able to make Sukuna use his own technique.
Where did he say that he knew about his transformation?
@@TheDemidem0n1. His transformation is widely know at least by the top 3 families and was introduced by Gojo when clarifying that he was a past sorcerer not a curse like people thought over the years.
