This is great to hear, I just looked up illiyoon on youtube and discovered Kelly and I am so impressed that to one cream I found straight up two reviews year apart from her. Also the comparison of this or that of lotion vs cream was great to see! This woman seems like my skincare youtuber holygrail as she also seem to share my skintype :D
I'm definitely loving the new version better. The Ceramide capsules seemed to be getting harder and harder to break down in the old version but they just melt away in this new version. Also the new version is not quite as greasy but still very emollient.. love it! ❤
Yea for sure, the last bottle was the worst! I feel like Illiyoon finally realised that most ppl use this as a face cream and not a body cream, which I think is what it was originally intended to be.. The new formula seems much more elegant and the overall texture and ingredients are way better imo. Great video Kelly x

I have a huge tub of the older version, and I have to say that when my skin is really sensitized it almost feels like the "flakes" are scratching at my skin. I'm so glad they reformulated them!
I’ve used the old version and my oily skin enyoyed it. My sister has the newer formula. I tried it and I must say, you are spot on. This can be a little occlusive for those with oily skin. But when i feel drier and a bit irritated from tretinoin, this new version helps calm my skin. Thanks for the review. God bless
I really love the new formulation! I find it spreads much easier, especially when using the big 500g tub. For someone who has dry skin, it’s been really hard to find a moisturiser that works just right, most really aren’t able to lock in that moisture all day for me, but the new illiyoon formulation is just perfect!
I just ran out of the original formula so I bought the new one. I definitely felt the difference when I put it on and was scared I had gotten a fake product but after research, I found that it’s the new formula! Just like you said, it still feels great but I also prefer the original formula 😭
i bought the older version last june and the capsules just cannot melt away even when i rubbed my skin for a long time. it took so much effort to work on the old formulation i ended up using it as my foot cream and just wrap my feet in fluffy socks completely ignoring the beads of capsules. i think i should give the newer version another chance. the way you review it made it seems so much better than the older version
I literally just bought it last month because of your recommendations in your previous video. My skin is as dry as the desert so yea I’m loving it. Thanks Kelly
Thanks for the update Kelly! What I loved about the original was the balance with hydration, it felt very light and hydrating while still being just moisturizing enough. I don't think the reformulated one will be for me, it sounds closer to the CeraVe moisturizing cream which I don't enjoy since it's too occlusive. I appreciate that you address the reformulation! I always enjoy your detailed description of texture and effect on the skin.
Yep, I think that was it for me too. The whole beauty of the old version is the fact that it absorbs without leaving any oily layer on top. I have mild rosacea. I can’t use anything that suffocates my skin even slightly. Silicones over oils every time.
@@hannal5512 same for me! I still have half a bottle of the old formula and probably won't repurchase. It was such a nice cream and so great that I could use it on my rosacea face as well as body
Oh No! I recently found your channel and your knowledge and enthusiasm convinced me that this would be a perfect summer cream for me. But they added rosemary extract to the ingredients. When my skin is strong I could probably tolerate it in that small amount but the bonus to this cream is that I don’t have to find a gentler one when my skin is sensitized. Rosemary extract is a hard no for my sensitized skin. Thanks for giving us the heads up.
What's a hard no for me is the grass they have added, and I'm severely allergic to grass pollen. Even when I was in Asia, Japan, tho not even the same grass species I did react.
I loveeee the newer version better. Easier application, less messy (ceramide beads melts down instantly), felt more moisturizing and i feel it gives more barrier protection (cz the previous one ended up not doing enough for my sensitive, eczema skin). Edit: makes sense why the ceramide beads were messier (didn't melt properly) and the barrier support felt less effective from my last bottle. Only downside is that i could no longer use this on the lips. The new one dries it out while the old one keeps the lips soft. Really sad i can no longer find the old formula to restock for my lips 😞

I had no idea it was reformulated! This video is really informative for me since this has been my all year round moisturizer and has my using ever since you recommended it. I do hoard my Illiyoon when Olive Young has it on sale so I still have the old version. I will listen to my skin when I ended up using the newer version in the summer time. Thanks Kelly for this news and review!!!
I think I had a mini panic attack clicking on this video... this is my fave moisturizer as well and I think between my sister an me we've gone through 4 or 5 of these over the last few years. My current one is still the old formula, but after watching you break this down I'm actually excited to try the new version even if I'm of the same sentiment with not changing something that was working so well. This is my all year-round moisturizer but I can only judge it once I've tried it... As always thank you , Kelly for this nice Illiyoon Ato deep dive ❤
Oh man this is my favorite moisturizer ever and they added soybean oil to the new version. My skin is allergic to soybean oil so I’m sad that I won’t be able to use the new version, hopefully I can continue to find the old version online😟
This actually makes me so nervous. I just bought 2 tubes of what is listed as the original version of this moisturizer off of YesStyle. I loved the original formulation BECAUSE it had no oil in its formlation (every product ive tried with oil in it has broken me out) while having all the other properties I love! I tried CeraVe for years and It never repaired my skin the same way the old Illiyoon does so I really hope the old formulation is the one i recieve when my package gets here 🙏. I literally wouldn't have known about the update in formulation if not for this video 😭 Thank you Kelly!
Omg! Thanks to you and this video I’ve finally found myself a new holy grails moisturizer. After 3-4 years of extreme frustration as diabetes type 2, and vitamin D deficiency ruined my skin none of my former moisturizers worked, nor did any other products regardless of brand or ingredients, and I’ve tried the majority of famous and hyped products and brands from Europe, Japan, Korea and the US. I live in Norway. I even gave up moisturizers, but my skin only got worse. I previously thought I had Rosacea and fungal acne, but when even MCT oil and Squalane broke me out; red irritated skin, red bumps, cysts, and hives, I didn’t understand why as the products was supposed to be fungal acne free and meant for Rosacea. Now I know it’s because I don’t have those tho similar overlapping symptoms and same triggers: sun, alcohol and certain foods… especially stress management is important, as well as diet and getting enough sleep. Soon used it for a week, and so far so good. No breakouts which is a miracle to me as previously plant oils would totally break me out. I also got various food allergies and intolerances, as well as grass pollen allergy and being allergic to mineral makeup.
Yesss, you're giving the people what they need! Been waiting on your opinion of this. I still have a lot of my old version left but it has been a godsend for my eczema, so much so that I'm now on tret with minimal irritation few months after a major outbreak. My skin doesn't usually love dimethicone so I'm a bit wary but I'm gonna have to give it a try
I actually used the old version mixed with chia seed oil this winter so I think my skin gonna appreciate the extra moisture! I definitely gonna buy it and try it at falltime 😊
Very thorough review! I loved the old version for its ceramide boost as it has .6% ceramide which is very high for a cream!! I see on the back of my new bottle it is now .7%(look for the ppm on the back in the ingredients list in korean) which I was stoked about. I haven't used the new version I've gotten yet, but I have classically dry skin so your review made me excited lol! PS Kelly you should try Aestura's 365 Cream! It has even more ceramide (the pseudo ceramide) and I've been just obsessed with it lately! They also have a water cream that I've tried with a lighter texture yet still amazingly barrier supportive!
The bottle I'm on is still the old version and I love it but I'm very curious to try the new version though! Thank you for this insight on the reformulation
I’ve been obsessed with your videos!! I literally binge watch them for days and have learnt so much! Would you consider doing a video on a k beauty skincare routine for dehydrated skin? Thank you!
Kelly, I purchased this moisturizer thanks to your recommenation and I absolutey loved it. My favorite along with Dear Klairs' Fundamental water cream. Will try the new version X
i do like sleeping like a glazed donut even tho i got oily skin so i think it wont affect me so much. for the morning i use the purito deep sea water cream
For me when I ordered the new version when it just got released, it doesnt have the vegan mark on it and the capsules are rough compared to original version. Im glad the the capsules are not anymore rough on the new version !
I like the old version better its really help smooth over my skin textures (acne scar) sometimes i just forget that i have acne scars if I don't look at mirror.
Honestly, I didn’t panic buy the old formulation just because I still have a whole unopened bottle. I don’t think I will have a problem with this new slightly thicker version but I was very worried that they would add some comedogenic ingredients or something (I looked into the ato lotion out of curiosity once and that’s an acne minefield). I used to use the FAB ultra repair cream before they added the essential oils and when it would get truly warm and humid and gross where I lived I’d mix it in with a water cream or a lotion to make it lighter for the daytime, so far I’ve used: the COSRX honey (now propolis?) mask, the CosRx snail cream the Klairs all over lotion and the isntree HA aqua gel cream.
Does this Illiyoon concentrate cream still work best to completely rehydrate/revitalize a dehydrated skin barrier from retinol-overuse? Or are there better products you’d recommend?
thanks for the review! I did love the old one SO much. How do you feel about the Rosemary Leaf Extract in the new formulation? You and I are very strict about fragrance and EOs but i didn't hear you mention this potentially fragrant extract :) Notably the essential oil has fragrant terpenes like a-pinene and limonene that I know of but I'm not sure exactly how the extract would be.
Thank you so much for this update! I tried the old version for the first time last year and was quite disappointed with the capsules as they didn't dissipate and actually hurt a little bit. It's a body cream now. Wasn't going to repurchase, but now I just might try the reformulation! Btw, I was wondering what your thoughts are on the FAB wild oat toner! I'm really enjoying it in the cooler weather 😊
I just bought mine, and I thought it was a fake. So, I quickly check your channel. Thanks for this video, Kelly! But, I like the old formulation better. :( My dry skin loves the thicker texture.
I'm glad you covered this! I didn't know they reformulated. Also I'm curious: have you tried the Bioderma Atoderm Baume? That's what I'm using right now and it has ceramides, cholesterol, and other goodies you usually like. My skin really likes it!
Hi Kelly. I’m a new viewer and I just placed an order after watching an old video. I’m hoping the new version works as well as the old one sounded. 😂 I’m someone with an oily T-zone but super dry underneath all that mess. I’ve been wanting to use a heavier moisturizer at night because I wake up so dry and dull looking. I hope this product does the trick. Thanks for all your videos and recommendations! ❤
Btw I have combination oily reactive sensitive skin. More dry during winter and easily get sun eczema then too. I normally prefer matte, but surprisingly I love this. I even use more than necessary. And it’s fine and don’t really appear or feel greasy until the end of the day anyway. Tho it’s still winter here in Norway, spring starts in May, so will see. I’ll probably just switch to my Goodal Vegan Rice Cream moisturizer or just use less than I do now. Goodal I love as it’s more satin/semi matte, but it’s not heavy enough during the colder months which is why I wanted to try this one.
I cant wait to try this. I love the cerave all year round so i think i will love this too :) i use tretioin and then acne cream in morning so i get dryness from that :-)
Kelly, which one is thicker and more suitable for dry winter skin, Iunik Black Snail Restore Cream or Etude House Soon Jung 2x Intensive Barrier Cream?
Hmm. Feeling kind of bummed out about your verdict here. The reason why I loved the original version is precisely because of the non-greasy texture. Great for my sensitive, oily skin. The new version sounds like it might leave my skin shiny and oily throughout the day. I'm probably still gonna try it because of the amazing ingredients but overall it sounds like I have to go look for a new everyday moisturizer :( Anyway, thank you so much for your thorough review. Love your content as always
@@sunflower_6086 Yes, I use it after using tretinoin for 30 minutes. Waiting for 30 minutes does not make my forehead oily, however waiting for only 3 minutes makes my forehead oily for the next 30 minutes. Probably because tretinoin hasn’t sinked in yet? Or damp skin + illiyoon makes it oily? Also, I've been using it for over 3 months and haven't had any breakouts.
the old version wasn't enough for my skin(tretinoin user) but it works well for my body and hair🖒i guess i gonna loved the new version, thank u Kelly for this review 🌻
Kinda funny. I got the new one last year without knowing and I thought I was crazy. It was WAY thicker (like how you said it is an understatement for me lol). The one before was the old version and I loved it. I have exactly the same skin as you but it’s just too much now for ‘just everyday use’. It’s now only handy when I actually have barged skin or something similar. I can’t use it everyday let alone during summer, it actually broke me out and I still was looking for the reason because I did not know the newer version 😂 I think if you enjoy the new version you are more on the dry/dehydrated side.
Hey Kelly, do you think the new version would be too occlusive for those who use the retinol sandwich method? Perhaps it'd be okay for the second layer of moisturizer...
Where is the new version being sold besides Stylvana? Many retailers don't update the ingredient lists. I had been adding passion fruit oil to the old version for some anti-inflammatory care so this is probably going to suit me without the greasiness.
Hey, this video is now 1.5 years old and I've gone 2 summers without using this cream! It's too heavy for my combo skin that can lean a little more oily in summer. I used it a ton last fall and winter and plan to do so again this fall and winter!
I still haven’t bought the illiyoon but I want to try it. My go to cream is the isntree hyaluronic acid moisture cream, I have dry skin and this is my favorite cream. I also use the Holika Holika good cera cream and also love it (I mix both). But I want to try new ones. Have bought today the curel intensive moisture cream and I am curious if it will work. (Expensive and you only get a little amount so I’m not sure, I will see if it’s worth). The curel moisture lotion is not that expensive, will try it as well. Also tried Missha bee pollen renew cream because I loved the ampoule, and I also like that cream. Since I want to try more Japanese besides my favorite hada labo, I have also bought the naturie conditioning gel, and it is amazing for dry and combo skin! And I have used the Sana Nameraka Honpo Soy Milk Isoflavone Beauty Essence, I think it’s great and I can recommend it, will try more of it in the future. And the last thing I want to try is the Eborian Ginseng Milk and the Bonajour green tea water bomb toner, it is a gel toner with triple hyaluronic acid, different type of peptides and green tea. I love hydrating toners, right now I’m using isntree hyaluronic acid toner plus and the iunik vitamin hyaluronic acid toner, I also use the hada labo hyaluronic acid premium lotion. Besides that I’m using Paula’s choice bha lotion and the aha lotion. Btw I’m a woman this is the account of my boyfriend.
@@KellyDriscoll Thank you 💙 Yes I love the bonjaour toner, very hydrating and I am very happy with this product. And the eborian ginseng milk - WOW. I have tried so many ginseng, but hands down, this is the best. So moisturizing and works well in combination with other products. The only thing that bothers me is the fragrance. I am not a fan of fragrance in skincare. But this type of fragrance is okay for me. It is a fresh smell and not a perfume one which would give me a headache…I hate perfume smell in skincare. I had it with the face shop rice & ceramide moisture emulsion, it was one of the worst experiences I have had with a skincare product. Couldn’t stand the smell and my head hurt. Thank god here in Germany you can return even skin care products you bought from Amazon without a problem. Anyway, I have ordered the Illiyoon cream now and I hope I will like it (have dry skin). But I’m not sure what version I will get. The old or the new one. But I wanted to try another cream besides my isntree hyaluronic acid moist cream (which is still my favorite cream because it moisturizes my skin over a long time without greasiness and getting dry already after an hour. I’m still looking out for alternatives. After the Illiyoon I want to try the Zeroid Intensive cream. I also haven’t tried omega complex moisturizer from Paula’s Choice like some other products from Paula either. From cosrx the hyaluronic acid cream is still on my to do list. But I don’t want only a gel cream, my skin needs more so there are richer creams from cosrx, innisfree and many other companies. The Sana Nameraka Honpo Soy Milk Isoflavone Wrinkle Cream sounds great too for my dry skin. I‘m addicted to skin care (especially Asian skincare) and can’t wait to try it all :-) Thank you for your informative videos Kelly, it always helps me with my decisions and you also update me on new skin care products! Will also update you about the Illiyoon cream, if it’s the new version and if I like it. Can’t wait!
I'm still using the original formula. I'm usually oily combo so maybe the new formula isn't going to be as good for me. But I'm definitely still willing to try it still. Perhaps it will be more of a body moisturizer if it's too occlusive. I do want to try the Aestura cream to compare though!
I have oily skin and I didn’t like how greasy the old Illiyoon cream left me, plus the beads took time to rub in. Has anyone tried the Illiyoon lotion for the face? If so, how does it perform and how’s the occlusivity for transepidermal water loss?
never tried the lotion but i finished the gel version which has a very gel cream like texture but it provide a lot of hydration and moisture to the skin. if you have oily skin, pea size amount is enough for your face. it keep my very moisturised throughout the day. 175ml is going to last you for months
@@ownsbytessa does gel version of this makes ur face dark... I feel like my face is becoming dark...mine is oily/combo skin... Or should I try cream version of this? Plz help me.. I can't figure out why it's making me dark .. but after applying this texture of my skin changed to buttery smooth
@@sreejasrizz7924 what do you mean by dark? Is it sun tan or is it looking dull? If its sun tan, you are probably not using enough sunscreen and if it’s dull, you probably need some mild exfoliation to shed off the dead skin cells build up
@@ownsbytessa so the dullness is not because of this moisturizer? Okay.. coming to exfoliation day( begginers exfoliation)... The next day face is burning like hell donno why? I apply two finger length sunscreen every 2 hours..(1/4 tsp for face and neck) is that enough sunscreen?
I tried the BoJ one but sadly it didn't calm my skin as I expected. Maybe Kelly had a different experience 😌 In my observations calming the skin is somewhat personal. Is there any triggers that causes sensitivity on your skin?
Same for me. I thought i was the only one who got a bad batch so I bought 2 new tubes and it was the same. That’s why i came looking to see if Kelly has got any updates on this. Thanks Kelly!
@@KellyDriscoll Thank you Kelli. I just purchased from Stylevana as well. I didn't realize they had an option there to choose from the old formula or the new one. I didn't care for the old formula. I was sensitive to something in it. I have drier skin and am really looking forward to trying this new formula. I didn't even know they changed it until I saw your review. Love you and your channel. Keep up the great work. I have rosacea, eczema, and just hypersensitive skin in general, and I'd be lost without your channel. You're a Godsend. ❤
I disagree, I think this new version is less occlusive. I didn't realize it got reformulated, I thought I had received a faulty product, lol. Not liking this for my face anymore, will continue to use on my body.
Yes, i also think that way, for the old version sometimes I can still feel it till evening but the new version just hold on until afternoon. And the new one feel more light than old one. For the skin texture, I think the old one the winner its really make my skin texture soo smooth (acne scar), the new one is smooth too but not enough like the old one.
Ugh I hate when they reformulate my Holy Grails. First my beloved Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner, now the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream too. Whyyyyy??? I have combination skin so this is very upsetting news.
Formula change happened late 2021, but the shops were selling through old stock for a while after that. I ordered the new one from Stylevana in February, I'm pretty sure yours is gonna be new. Look at the placement of the red logo on the tube, new version i smaller and placed lower.
You likely won't run into the old bottle anymore since the new one has been out for close to 2 years. The new one has the red logo in the blue border now, not outside.
Great video!!! Interesting and perplexing if in fact people care more for vegan skincare-what is put on the surface of the face Than actually plant based food-what you ingest Id say one has even greater ethical questions than the other … The ultimate (potentially hypocritical) virtue signal that needs a deeper examination

I tried CeraVe for years and It never repaired my skin the same way the old Illiyoon does so I really hope the old formulation is the one i recieve when my package gets here 🙏. I literally wouldn't have known about the update in formulation if not for this video 😭 Thank you Kelly!
old version is less oily than the new?
That's really amazing to hear your skin is taking to tret so well, I hope this newer version continues to help!
I actually used the old version mixed with chia seed oil this winter so I think my skin gonna appreciate the extra moisture! I definitely gonna buy it and try it at falltime 😊
Oh nice combination!
Thank you Kelly for the update . Judging from your video, I would say that I much prefer the newer version because its a thicker cream.
Glad this helped!
Thank you Kelly for your insightful reviews of the ingredients and formulation of both products
Thank you!
Late to watching, but I love this new cream. I never got to try the old one. This saves my skin!
Thank you for this review! Just bought a full size and can't wait to try it with my tret!♥
Kelly, I purchased this moisturizer thanks to your recommenation and I absolutey loved it. My favorite along with Dear Klairs' Fundamental water cream. Will try the new version X
So glad your skin enjoyed! ❤
i do like sleeping like a glazed donut even tho i got oily skin so i think it wont affect me so much. for the morning i use the purito deep sea water cream
I always look like a chocolate glazed donut for bed. I sleep on a silk pillow case to retain moisture.
I've been waiting for this!!!!!!!!!!
Out of curiosity, did you use the new Illiyoon moisturiser during the summer? And how did you find it?
No I didn't, it's too rich! The new formula is a cold-weather staple, though!
do u prefer the cerave moisturizing cream or the new ilyoon formula?
Great idea to mix the cream and lighter water cream!
Old comment, but it seems unscented to me, I doubt it's in there for scent.
What do you think about “Illiyoon Ultra Repair Cream”? I accidentally bought it but it is good. Missing the bead though, no beads here.
She has a video about the toner
I just bought mine, and I thought it was a fake. So, I quickly check your channel. Thanks for this video, Kelly!
But, I like the old formulation better. :( My dry skin loves the thicker texture.
I'm glad you covered this! I didn't know they reformulated. Also I'm curious: have you tried the Bioderma Atoderm Baume? That's what I'm using right now and it has ceramides, cholesterol, and other goodies you usually like. My skin really likes it!
Have you tried that same line's gel creme? I'm really thinking about trying it my very sensitive and allergy-prone skin
@@lucyjames8818 I haven't, but it looks really good! My skin is a little too dry for gel creams but I've definitely been tempted lol
Kelly new illiyoon is like cerave moisturizing cream or more moisturizing than that. Can you plz answer because you have used both. What's your call?
More moisturizing and emollient is illiyoon. More protective and occlusive, it might be neck and neck now that new illiyoon is more occlusive.
@@KellyDriscoll thanks for your reply
Exactly the information I was looking for!! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Oh, so glad for this video. I'm due for a new bottle here soon 🙂
Hope you enjoy it!
Wow that's hard to choose, both would probably work! I haven't used iunik in winter yet but I have used soon jung a few years ago and it was nice!
I used the Etude House one all this winter in the morning and never had an issue!
Hmm. Feeling kind of bummed out about your verdict here. The reason why I loved the original version is precisely because of the non-greasy texture. Great for my sensitive, oily skin. The new version sounds like it might leave my skin shiny and oily throughout the day. I'm probably still gonna try it because of the amazing ingredients but overall it sounds like I have to go look for a new everyday moisturizer :(
Anyway, thank you so much for your thorough review. Love your content as always
have you tried the new one? how is it for your oily skin?
@@bunnniel have u tried it ??
@@sunflower_6086 Yes, I use it after using tretinoin for 30 minutes. Waiting for 30 minutes does not make my forehead oily, however waiting for only 3 minutes makes my forehead oily for the next 30 minutes. Probably because tretinoin hasn’t sinked in yet? Or damp skin + illiyoon makes it oily?
Also, I've been using it for over 3 months and haven't had any breakouts.
the old version wasn't enough for my skin(tretinoin user) but it works well for my body and hair🖒i guess i gonna loved the new version, thank u Kelly for this review 🌻
do you use moisturizer on your hair?

How does the Illiyoon Ato Concentrate Cream compare to the Aestura Ato Barrier365 Cream ?
I would love to see a comparison too!
I’m worried about the rosemary leaf extract 😳 I have super reactive skin
Then stay away from this product. Just go for product for sensitive skin
I can’t use it everyday let alone during summer, it actually broke me out and I still was looking for the reason because I did not know the newer version 😂
I think if you enjoy the new version you are more on the dry/dehydrated side.
Hey Kelly, do you think the new version would be too occlusive for those who use the retinol sandwich method? Perhaps it'd be okay for the second layer of moisturizer...
I have combo acne prone skin but i get dry patches from retin-a. would this or cera ve be better
Where is the new version being sold besides Stylvana? Many retailers don't update the ingredient lists. I had been adding passion fruit oil to the old version for some anti-inflammatory care so this is probably going to suit me without the greasiness.
Thank you ❤️
Will this moisturizer pill if I wear top of Retin A
mine is the older version, i got it last month and i'm really loving it. i am from a humid country in south asia. :-)
Hiii! I’m wondering how this worked for you for summer! Thank you in advance
Hey, this video is now 1.5 years old and I've gone 2 summers without using this cream! It's too heavy for my combo skin that can lean a little more oily in summer. I used it a ton last fall and winter and plan to do so again this fall and winter!
illiyoon or la roche cicaplast baume- which one is better? please tell
Is there a difference between the vegan version and “no-vegan-logo” version of this illiyoon concentrate cream?
Wow ginseng milk sounds really lovely! 😍 The bonajour toner is really good and it sounds like your skin is going to really enjoy it!
I‘m addicted to skin care (especially Asian skincare) and can’t wait to try it all :-)
Thank you for your informative videos Kelly, it always helps me with my decisions and you also update me on new skin care products!
Will also update you about the Illiyoon cream, if it’s the new version and if I like it. Can’t wait!
Is the old version still worth it? I accidentally bought the old version and I don't know if this will be effective on my oily skin
What’s the difference because this and the ato centrate cream
How does this cream compare to the Dr. Jart Ceramidin cream??
I'm still using the original formula. I'm usually oily combo so maybe the new formula isn't going to be as good for me. But I'm definitely still willing to try it still. Perhaps it will be more of a body moisturizer if it's too occlusive. I do want to try the Aestura cream to compare though!
any updates?
Updates?
It's fine for my combination skin right?
Didnt u try the iunik propolis mask. I thought ive seen it in ur backround. But never saw a review on it.. or was that a different product?
I love this moisturizer, but I’ve been really curious about their other moisturizers!
@@ownsbytessa thx u so much for this 😭 been scourging for the gel's review for days now 😩 aaa thx!!🤗

I tried the BoJ one but sadly it didn't calm my skin as I expected. Maybe Kelly had a different experience 😌 In my observations calming the skin is somewhat personal. Is there any triggers that causes sensitivity on your skin?
Skin type: combination-dry sometimes sensitive
I love the older version. The reformulation/new version is harder for me to spread :( It felt heavy.
Same for me. I thought i was the only one who got a bad batch so I bought 2 new tubes and it was the same. That’s why i came looking to see if Kelly has got any updates on this. Thanks Kelly!
Where can I get the new version?? I’ve searched and can’t find it!
Can a Retinoid penetrate the Illiyoon Moisturizer when its layerd after it?
I don't see this new formulation or new packaging on any of the K-Beauty websites, including Stylevana and YesStyle.
I bought the new version on Stylevana in February.
@@wakeupordie how did you get on with the new formulation? I tried the old one but it wasn’t enough for my eczema skin

You're so welcome!
Where do you buy the Korean skin care ? Please if you could let me know where or which website ? Thank you
Mainly yesstyle and stylevana, I always link the products I talk about in the description box with the places I recommend purchasing from!
What! They re formulated the klairs unscented supply preparation toner, I must of missed that some how 😩😩
How does the texture compare to the Purito centella cream? x
The centella cream is less occlusive than the new illiyoon.
@@KellyDriscoll thanks!
When did they reformulate? My items were shipped from yesstyle on match 23rd. Which one should I expected
Formula change happened late 2021, but the shops were selling through old stock for a while after that. I ordered the new one from Stylevana in February, I'm pretty sure yours is gonna be new. Look at the placement of the red logo on the tube, new version i smaller and placed lower.
@@KellyDriscoll thanks Kelly very kind
Stylevana has somewith no year dseignation and some with "new" 2021. Which is the version you are reviewing as 2022?
The formulation changed in late 2021 so this would be the most recent formula.
any updates on oily skin?
Illiyoon ato soothing gel is lighter than ato cream, and work way better for my sensitive & combination skin.
Is it a great option for acne prone skin?
If you have dryness on your skin and acne prone it could worth trying. There are many factors to what can trigger acne so it's hard to say for sure.
@@KellyDriscoll Yeah, if u don't try, u'll never know
Thank u, Kelly for answer!
Why they changed great product 😥😥😥😥 I'm oily skin so it was great for me in winter
How do I recognize the new version please ?
You likely won't run into the old bottle anymore since the new one has been out for close to 2 years. The new one has the red logo in the blue border now, not outside.
Wish it worked for my damaged skin barrier but it broke me out😅
Idk vegan or not I really like this one & that says a lot from someone who has very dried skin
If you have oily skin just use less quantity than you'd normally use🤷🏾♀️
How can I tell by looking at the tube which one is the new version or older version?
You can pause the video on the side by side ingredient chart I made, you can see the red logo is placed differently on the new bottle.
Can you wear makeup over this cream?
Yes!
is this moisturiser fragrance free and essential oil free?
Yes!

Than actually plant based food-what you ingest
