Congratulations. You are the first person who played it right. Many attempts... Good job. I actually played it on a 7 string detuned.To be honest I don't even remember exactly how I played it as I wrote it in the moment one very late night and don't read music or know notes....

Perfect. Reminds me of every drug addled, debauched post-bender comedown I've experienced, just like the original. Far from the best moments in my life, but it's amazing how much he nailed that feeling. When you add in the nostalgia from the game and that time in my life it's something really quite special. Drugs and depression sure create some great music, but the trade-off is never a good one.

Unfortunately I don't have any, but you can try to see something on the video :) It's almost the same motive for the most part of the song, only "chorus" (2:15 for example) is diffrent - builded on G# major and Asus4. Tuning is drop C, good luck :)

What genre of music is this? I am looking for songs that sound similar to it. It's not rock, or metal. It sounds like... something down tempo, but the music utilises only instruments used in rock.
I have no idea. I recommend checking the whole soundtrack of this game, it's great. Also you can find on youtube few tracks which were never used in game.
