I fell asleep and this video started to play. In my dream, I went into a cafe and met a man behind the counter who was very friendly. After I started to settle in, I couldn’t find my credit card. The man who had been speaking came to me and put his arm around me and I instantly felt his love for me. He was talking to my friends who had come in to check on me and all the while was saying the things Jason was saying, in Jason’s voice, and he kept his arm firmly around me. It was so comforting to feel loved and claimed. I stopped looking for my credit card because I knew “Jack” (that’s what his name tag said) would take care of all of my needs. It isn’t amazing how even in our sleep God is for us? ❤

That is really something. I had a similar experience. I fell asleep at the start of this I think, or it started while I slept. My husband and I were resting on our bed and he came in the room and was telling us all this. I remember trying to ask a question but, he kept talking over me. That would normally be frustrating and make me feel annoyed but, I didn't. His voice was so loving and kind, so I decided to just listen. Now I had one ear bud in, in my right ear and while we slept my husband was on my left side. So eventually I felt, oh, this nice man telling us thimgs of the Lord has laid down on my right side. And I thought, oh that is odd but, he is just teaching us about God and he is so loving so I relaxed and we laid there listening to him. I really thought, "What a kind loving voice and way of speaking, everything is okay."
God did give me a peace even in my dream that it was okay to listen to him. How funny that you too fell asleep and listen to him as well. God bless this man of God and God bless you too.✝️🕊🙏🏻☘

I agree. If one studies logic extensively (as I have), you would find that there is no necessary correlation of any logical conclusion and truth. Which destroys all logical apologetics. Just because you have a valid conclusion drawn from sound premises, is no guarantee the conclusion is true. Only that the conclusion is necessarily drawn from the premises. This is the difference between "true" and "truth functionally true"..

The similarities between demonic and alien encounters is stark. They include telepathy, levitation, the ability to walk through walls, missing time, the ability to defy God's know laws of physics, mutilation, sexual molestation and others. Books on the occult dating back hundreds of years picture demons as those called Grey aliens today. Many who have called on Jesus during such alien encounters have seen the alien entities flee.

Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible it states that God being the Word...made the universe and everything therein in six literal days. God did not rest for millions or billions of years on day seven. God made man on day six along with all the land animals. The Bible states the genealogy from Adam to the birth of Jesus giving life spans of his progenitors. We therefore know from that Bible that creation took place some 6000 years ago. Did God create aliens along with mankind?....not according to the Biblical record. We do know that there was a rebellion among Angels in Heaven against God. That fallen angels interfered with the development of Gods special creation mankind. Logic would dictate that those fallen angels may be the alien intrusions we are seeing.

Biblical Hebrew has no word for universe, in the Bible “heaven and the earth” is always used to talk about the complete universe. “Firmament” is used in the King James Version a old (1,500) translation? Modern translations do not use this: Genesis 1:7 “And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse.” This is talking about what we now call the water cycle. The use of the world “firmament” in Genesis 1:8 is a carryover from the Latin firmamentum of the Vulgate. Genesis was written in Hebrew, the original Hebrew word is raqiya. This should be translated “expanse, sky, space, horizon”. Some translated this a vault. Genesis was written in Hebrew, which as limited vocabulary.
Day is not the same as 24 hours, not in the past and not today.
The earth is not 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day has not ended. Thus day 7 is a long time span, thus day 1 to 6 must be a long time span. Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is:
      Sunrise to sunset
      Sunset to next sunset
Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ).
We use the word day the same today: In my grandfather’s day cars did not go very fast.
Deuteronomy 33:15 and Habakkuk 3:6 "ancient mountains".
The events of day 6 can not have happened in 24 hours.

Dr Brian May, I don't think he's a Christian, but he helped determine the size of the Milky Way 🌌! Why is this an interesting bit of trivia? Because he is also the lead guitarist for the rock group Queen! He's very adamant that physics (he's an Astrophysicist), math and music are strongly connected in the brain or mind. I do know that music is essentially a universal language (the notes are written the same in all languages), and studying languages and music are the only 2 things that have been proved to actually raise a person's IQ. Just think how often the scriptures mention to sing praises or talk about angels singing praises. It's almost like music might be Heaven's language! Just a wild thought. Carry on. 😊
(BTW - Did you know that the ancient Hebrew alphabet has musical 🎶 tones connected to each letter? Each Psalm has the music embedded in it! You can find the original music for the 23rd Psalm on RUclips. It's Amazing! 💕)

Have you entered into the 7th as Hebrews 4:9-10 asks you to?

@1:11: "Thus, to think correctly is to think God's thoughts after him." - So far you are right, but that is a non-sequitur: "Rational thinking is biblical thinking."
The biblical texts were written by humans long ago. Even if these people were inspired by God, they wrote down words that other people could understand. How can one express God's wisdom in human language? And since then these texts have been copied, translated and thus changed. - So: To understand God I do not rely on the Bible, but on my brain that He gave me.

0:32 "So logic isn't about studying fossils, or..or stars, or DNA....
It's about...it's about studying what logically follows from certain given facts".
So basically the premise here is that studying fossils, stars and DNA....or Paleontology, Astronomy and Genetics isn't about reasoning conducted by strict codes of validity.
    Which, of course, it absolutely...IS!
The purpose of logic is as the tool you use to determine the facts, not the other way round.
Logic, Astronomy and the Christian faith...lets take a closer look.
I've already touched on logic....the arrival of conclusions based on strict codes of validy, not credulity.
Astronomy...the study of space, celestial bodies(planets, stars, comets Et cetera)and the physical universe, not pseudo physical or numinousity.
And lastly, the Christian faith....the monotheistic belief of Jesus of Nazareth as the messiah, the son of God and his teachings.
What cannot be said is that Jesus of Nazareth could not have existed, and that he did not deliver teachings.
What also cannot be said is he was the messiah, or the son of God, because of Abrahamic prophecy derived from the Holy Bible, derived from script, derived from the hand(Man).
Religion is the premise of promise, the delivery always in transit, the night-light of the night-fearing child, the honey-sweet spoon chasing the bitter expectorant of existence.

Our existence, being temporary gives each of us little time to do the will of our Maker. Sometimes we are too caught up in our own existence. Life should be about learning and following the instructions given by our Wonderful Creator. It is a great responsibility and a privilege for those who will hear and obey.
Believing in the words we’ve heard or read, that the Son of YHWH came into His creation to give His very life, that all who would repent and believe, believing with an inward knowledge that we must become as Yeshua is and believe that He is the only door to the Father.

Stars do move, they move when the seasons change, you will not see the same stars as you did 2 months ago, clearly you never study the sky, so this is wrong. Also the reason that we don’t fly of the earth because of its speed is because an object put in motion stays in motion, this is well established physics.

So basically, he argues that the light from the stars reaches us instantaneously. If we reflect that light back to star, it would take billions of years to reach it. I’m probably not doing his argument any justice. He explains it far better than I can. I suggest searching g for it.

He studiously avoids an explanation of why he blithely ignores the fact that his god is presented as an indisputable, propositional given. He cannot, with his desperate and wishful thinking, account for the alleged existence of his chosen god. He knows that being pushed to give such an account, should it fail, will completely undermine his project and the lucrative income from his sale of books.

@manager0175 The question you’re asking is, “how do we know what is God’s communication vs what’s NOT God’s communication?”
One answer to this is prophecy. One of the main reasons God predicts the future in the Bible is to demonstrate to us that it’s really Him that is speaking (Isaiah 46:9-10), because no mere human is able to accurately and consistently predict the future. You have to be outside of time to be able to do that. In other words, God gives us falsifiable evidences that the Bible is from Him, and that encourages us to trust what it says.
As one who has studied the Bible to some fair degree, and what it has to say about e.g. the end of the world, I would say it gives us ample reason to trust it as the true Word of God when we look around at the world today. What the Bible has to say about human nature in particular is what REALLY leaves us without excuse.
For example, here you are, thinking you’ve outsmarted Lisle and by extension God, by accusing Lisle of a logical fallacy. When in fact, the fallacy is yours, namely begging the question. You assume without demonstration that God and/or God’s thoughts are unknowable by humankind, thus assuming in advance that the Bible is not what it claims to be. You then use the biblical law of non-contradiction (2 Tim 2:13) to accuse Lisle of logical contradiction, which of course is a TRUE contradiction on your part. The same thing happens whenever these sceptics accuse the Bible of being full of contradictions. Unless of course you can prove from something OTHER than the biblical worldview why contradictions are objectively bad? “Everyone knows contradictions are bad!” Well, tell that to the pantheists who believe that all of reality is illusion, and that contrary entities are all around us. The idea of no universal truth contradiction is anchored in the belief that there is one self-consistent Lord of the universe, Whose Word (John 1:1) cannot be “spoken against”, i.e., “contra” - “dicted”. “Well, how is this specific to the Bible? Couldn’t e.g. the god of the Qur’an establish the same law of non-contradiction?” No. The god of the qur’an literally claims to revise his words not infrequently (Surah 2:106), and so the people who make this type of cheap argument are essentially making a plea to ignorance, hoping their target audience don’t know about the claims which are specific to the Bible. Which, you guessed it, is another logical fallacy.
In short, you CLAIM to be wise, whereas the Bible called it thousands of years before you were born (see e.g. Romans 1:22).
And so even your implied claim that we cannot possibly know what God’s thoughts are, actually ends up as corroboration for the Bible’s claim to be God’s Word! That’s the kind of divine irony I’m here for!
But of course the same irony turns on me, because the Bible maintains the self-consistent standard which condemns you AND me (Romans 3:23). We all have a tendency to pick a hypocritical standard which makes us look a whole lot better than we are. But the Bible keeps it real, and is ultimately about the grace of God which All us sinners need. I’d strongly encourage any sincere enquirers to look into it further to find out more about the amazing grace of God.
      Hope this is somewhat helpful.
