    Hello and TYVM for this video. I have purchased the S50 due next week. Planetary imaging has always been my prime desire, although I do plan on taking the S50 out to darker skies. I read that there was a planetary mode coming and it is SO GREAT to see that it has been implemented! Tks 'gain.

    Im excited to see what ways the devs tweak the software in the future. I think there's a lot of potential in this scope.

      I agree! The features they've added just in the last couple updates is impressive.

    15 secs is the sweet spot which is why the D2 limited it to 15 secs, even at 20 secs zoom in not perfect

    Question. Tiny lenses. Tiny apature and software based iso. Isnt this really a. Ell phone with a huge lense (by cell phone standards) thrn a tonne of AI on known images to enhance or create (period) images of what it nows you are expected to see? 😊

    Adapted UI for tablets might be a nice update also!

      Good idea! I'd love to do an update on the tablet UI improvements, but I don't have a tablet that can run the app.

    Equatorial track those objects and try again.

    • @TulsaAstroGeek
      @TulsaAstroGeek  11 месяцев назад

      The Seestar S50 only has an Alt-Az mount and doesn't support being mounted in equatorial mode. A few users have mounted it on a wedge, but it's not supported by the manufacturer.

    • @mikemuha7537
      @mikemuha7537 11 месяцев назад

      You can fool it and it will work, regardless of the support of the manufacturer.

    What is UI ?

    • @TulsaAstroGeek
      @TulsaAstroGeek  Год назад

      UI stands for "user interface". There were UI enhancements for tablets that I wasn't able to test.
