In order to consider your steak marinade you need to make or buy some marinade and then out it in the fridge for 30 mins to 24 hrs.. your steak is considered bland.

I know it’s a little late on the comment section but you need to pre-heat your air fryer 400° for five minutes without the steak in it. when you place the steak it gives it a sizzle and a seat then cook a steak at 400. If you want a medium to medium rare eight minutes take it out after four, flip it and do the other four Hope that helps
Thank you for the tips!
Good point! It's always good to sear a steak first, to lock in the juices.
How does one pre-heat the air fryer ?
@@rositaortega5256 choose a preset with nothing, 3-5 minutes at 350-400 degrees in in the basket
I like mine med well , so put my steak in cook at 400 for 12-13 mins perfect juicy .( also let it rest for a bit)
I bought this air fryer Sept 2023 and started using it right away, with trepidation at first, having never owned one before ruclips.net/user/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . But I started trying the different settings and yes, I burned a few things at first until I got the hang of it, and have loved using it ever since I got it. For a single person, cooking smaller-scale meals is great while avoiding heating up a whole oven. The only downside to this air fryer is that the buttons are finicky since they're touch-based and the sensors are weird. I'd buy this thing again if I needed to, but at this point (if I don't jinx myself) I won't have to for a while to come.
this is one the one I have now. Its pretty big amzn.to/3scGsz9

I air fried my steak tonight with my cosori. I usually like my steak medium. I would say preheat 400 for 5 min. Cook for 8 min total, flip and rotate at the 4 min mark. Let it rest for 4 minutes before cutting/eating. I cooked for 12 minutes and it was too done, but I ate it.
I’m going to try that next time. Thanks for commenting
Was the steak really done? I would think that meat such as steak would require a tad more minutes to cook unless you like it a little tough and chewy.
Can you tell me if cosori has a stainless steel basket?

If you wanna use an air fryer for steak you can. First on a hot pan fry the meat for 2 minutes on each side and then on lowest heat possible you give the steak 5-10 minutes and let it rest for 5 minutes. That should give a good juicy medium rare steak

You should watch some videos on how to cook a steak. That was terrible. I feel sorry for the cow that gave his life to be made into that. And then you said you’re gonna put ketchup on it!? Normally I would say let the steak rest but what’s the point. Stop wasting cows!

russej02 Cow waster!!
David you know how to cook so what are you doing watching cooking videos? The point of this was showing the air fryer can cook a steak. That’s it.
russej02 I was shopping around for an air fryer and came across your video demonstrating how to waste a perfectly good steak! You put ketchup on them!!! What the hell are you thinking man!? Take this video down or turn off comments if you don’t want people letting you know how bad you are a cooking a steak. Even better, make a new video and cook it the right way. Now get to work!
David I enjoy interacting with people. If you read the comments prior to yours they’re all about the same.

Do it. It's the best thing I've ever bought.
It was my first time cooking with this. Thankfully my mom showed me how to cook somthing like porkchop, chicken strip, and pizza rolls.
Nice!
Never thought about doing a steak in there. Thanks for the video!
Also, if you like, you could always sear it in a pan for a minute on both sides after you pull it out of the air fryer.
Yep. That’s what I’ve started doing. Works well
But if you have to sear it in frying pan you may as well just finish it in the frying pan anyways.
Pretty clean w/ minimal cleanup. Are you supposed to put oil like you did ur chicken?

Good video. I've cooked ribeyes in my air fryer. Once I figured out how long to cook them depending on thickness (I prefer 1.5-2" thick steaks med-rare at the most), they alway come out great! Just need to add some salt, black pepper, and garlic powder before cooking. A good steak needs no other seasoning or sauce added, although I love the taste of A1 sauce, so I put a little on the side to dip into when I want some.
That sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing
Great easy video, and agree with all these ingrdiants, exactly what I use!
