I really hate this band, mostly due to the... let's go with vocalist. I can't in good conscience call him a singer.
Dude has a range of half a note and can't hit a pitch to save his life so to "compensate" for that he just brainlessly yells out of key even louder - which only makes the problem worse.
Ugh. Terrible.
This song isn't really the best example of it but you don't have to look too hard to find even worse performances in their discography.
Chart was mostly fine, though it has its share of mind-bogglingly stupid decisions and overlooked details. Like the first yellow in the solo strumming being a HOPO after a huge break, and the pattern in the outro chorus inexplicably switching to GY chords for the final repetition instead of the RB chords that it was for literally the entire rest of the song.
The venue animations also broke for the conversion so there's only one camera angle the whole time which is pretty unfortunate. Can't really blame Power Gig for that though.
Squeezing was also dead simple, though this was yet another of the Power Gig conversions that failed to account for a unison phrase. Still pretty sure this is the best strategy though, unless I didn't think of something. Just a really loose whammy squeeze in chorus 2 and a standard double in the outro chorus.
Since everything about this song is dumb there's also a glitch tick that took away a single point and prevented true optimal - I wasted another 3 attempts trying to keep it intact but it'd always disappear on the whammy note and never return on any of the following sustains.
This song never officially made it to RB until the DLC for RB4, not sure why it took so long since this seems to be one of their most popular songs and they had 9 other tracks in the previous games.
A conversion exists for this game but for reasons that should be obvious by now I haven't played it and don't plan to.
