- My name is Bobby and I'm theletterisb. Now what is theletterisb all about? I've created this channel with the intention of creating the very best video editing tutorial platform on RUclips. I'm sick and tired of all these boring, not straight to the point and way too long editing tutorials that we have to click through, just so we can get a little bit of educational value out of it.
For this reason I decided to do it the right way. Create short, exciting tutorials, teaching you the very best techniques to create professional video content.
But wait there is even more to talk about! This channel has evolved into so much more than just editing tutorials. At some point within my career I decided that I would like to use my acquired skills as a teacher, and share all my knowledge as a consultant when it comes to filmmaking, video editing, productivity.
With this vision in mind and I'm planning to release a lot of exciting content in the future. I'm Bobby and I'm theletterisb.
I am completely addicted to you video. I’m a long time user of Vegas but past the “get started” tutorials recourses have always been limited. You go way beyond that a create useful and awesome content. Thank you

Yo man thanks a lot, I also used the sun for this but because I was in some jungle the sun was not always visible I just set them to 0.500 and then the brightness came out just amazing. Thanks so much for this simple and clear tutorial.

LOL, I thought I was the only one using markers this way.
At the time, it seemed pretty scuffed to me.
As long as we feel comfortable with it I wouldn't change it. It's just part of my workflow :)

I believe that the letter M for placing a marker can also be applied
as the video is playing...
I have used it for placing markers during a "cutting to the beat"
section of a video while the video is running during the review process.
I believe that action might make it a little less time consuming...
the editor simply taps his/her finger on the M key to the beat of the music,
OR where the marker is desired.

First of I wanna thank you for the support! The methode you are talking about can be used but for me it's a little to imprecisely. But this is just a personal preference. If it works for you keep on doing it!

well, I realize it is an imprecise method. . .
but it gets all the markers placed and close with just one play-through. . .
then I go back and put them right on the beat of the music ... [ cut to the beat ... I love it... ] (grin)
OR
wherever I want them to sit for the project...

for the wipe effect . . . not all that much precision is required. . .
it's a technique disregarding the music... and ten frames apart from each other. . .

In your Glossy Text video, you said you consider yourself a sony vegas professional. Do you have any other channels where you upload projects?
No, I don't. But if there are going to be more complicated tutorials in the future will definitely consider adding presets and project files to the description!

wie bekommt man den levels plugin, ich kann den effekt bei mir nämlich garnicht finden?
Das ist ein Standard Plugin. Du benutzt höchstwahrscheinlich Vegas Movie Studio. Movie Studio enthält nur sehr wenige der wichtigsten Effekte die Sony Vegas Pro mit sich führt. Du solltest definitiv versuchen zu wechseln!

I really love your videos, but you don't need to spend so much time explaining why you made the video because it's kind of self-explanatory. Also, you should slow down! It will increase the watch time while letting others catch up. Keep up the great videos!
dafuq if I search for lvels the only thing that pops up is the bcc levels gamma. :o
Are you using Sony Vegas Movie Studio or Pro? Because Movie Studio is a very compromised version of SVP that doesn't include most of the important effects and tools.

Depends on the language you have in sony vegas, mine it's in spanish so it's called "niveles".

You mean the actual effect preview? Or the preview screen in Sony Vegas?
theletterisb preview screen... when i try too see my video on the preview screen, swap alot :/
I usually have the preview screen set to "Preview" "Quarter" this makes the video preview smooth most of the time!

If the cursor dont align in the menue editing, be sure to have the button "allign in the timeline" clcked (next to markpoints buttons)

When I add levels and adjust the effect, its only on half the image.
edit: nevermind, its only the preview that it does that. The rendered product is fine
