I personally use a UV coated one cuz no matter where i am the grip is excellent. Love how i cant scratch it and it gives an extra layer of protection against drops. As a person who loves the GAN X the Huameng UV coated is one cube ive been looking for like in forever. Smooth turning, no lock ups, very forgiving on turning fast and that logo just makes it look so premium
one of the best analysis of the YS3M magic clothes vs standard YS3M. I have the YS3M already and I am waiting for delivery of my Magic Clothes version.
The 4 versions are not necessary but other than that good job MoYu. And it's great that the hardware is cross-compatible. Going to give the special Steven Edition a try.

I have the ball core YS3; and yes, it was super sandy when I got it. I've only lubed it with a water-based lube so far, and it's got a bit more breaking in to do. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying it.
Really glad you mention that it is blocky. I actually bought a YS3M after using the WR M 2021 for a couple years, I was shocked by the blockiness and actually returned the cube.
I've also tried copying gan's repelling edge to core magnets, and it doesnt affected the cube that much but it add a little more stability and accuracy of my turning.

One labeled feature that you guys didn't discuss by name was the "Auto Homing" where it completes a turn for you because of the strong magnets. I've always felt that is what a magnetic cube should do and it feels very good on the YS3m 😃
I currently main the v3. It's good in every way, except on fundamental flaw that makes it hard for me to use. It flexes, as Phil said. I have a bad time with flexible cubes due to my turning style. The Ys3m ballcore just arrived, Hope it will get me better times.
@@matzemaiskolben I will suggest getting the tornado v3 flagship ONLY if you can handle fast and flaxible cubes. Otherwise, you will be better off with a YS3M. I do love my v3, and its the flagship. Not much point of the standard, and pioneer is too fast.
I got my Magic Clothes a few days ago and I very much enjoy it as my first stickerless cube. I have a GAN frosted keychain I was gifted and I like the texture of Magic Clothes better but as they say it's just personal choice.
Hey as for naming I think they were trying to call it Magic clothing with the word Magic like in Magic Cube (as former rubik's cube name and Chinese name) since rubik's cube in Chinese is 魔術方塊(mo shu fang kuai) which is often simplified to 魔方 (mo fang).

Yea it definitely sounds better in Chinese than the English translation version

The cube highlighted in the video the YS3M Ballcore has turquoise blue internals for the ball unfortunately. I wish it was a more basic color like black or white but I got the Magic Clothes version and I absolutely love this cube. My previous was a fully modded RS3M.
GAN356M maybe? It doesn't have core magnets so it feels a bit unstable compared to YS3M, but it meets all of your requirements and it's a pretty good cube.
i have the tornado v2 with black internals. its only like 25$, very quiet (i would personaly say quieter then the tengyun v1 wich is known for quietness). and the tornado v2 performance is also gerat. corner cutting is a bit worse then the newer cubes but good enough. its for sure better then the warrior s
I know one US cube vendor offers the ability to put their sticker logo on a cube that you get modding service on in the order (lube), and they remove the stock logo first. You could order from them and remove their sticker. After I submitted this I belive in addition to Logo: "Stock" or "Ours" they also have an option of "None (Remove Factory)".
I feel like the ball core has magnets that are waaay too strong for me but it could be that there is some aluminum polish left from when I polished the plastic, so I really don't know...

Best choice for you would be X-man Tornado v2/v3, it’s absolutely worth its price.
