    This is information that would be useless for me in the real world and my profession...but MAN did it ever feed my hunger for knowledge...Now I am BEGGING for someone to ask "how does fish get Oxygen from water"....
    You sir are a great teacher.

      M Living yeahh...i found someone that has the same question that i have...how the blood separates oxygen and hydrogen...and how does the blood knows that only oxygen is what he needs to pick????

    First off, thank you. Understanding a theoretical complete exchange made perfect sense. I became interested in the subject after reading about the Salmon Shark and how it uses countercurrent to stay warm. I understand tuna do this as well. I'm a bit confused as to how this happens using this same gas exchange.

    Doesn't really explain why a continous concentration gradient is occuring. Still good overview of the topic
