My little cousin started listening to rise against when he found my sscc album in my car. He said the cover looked cool. Now he only listens to rock music! moral of the story is judge all books by its cover.
Thanks for the support, i will try to upload every single song by Rise Against, and on October 7th i will go crazy and upload as many Appeal to Reason songs as possible :)
ALL of Rise Against is amazing, it comes from the soul. RA brings a message to its audience, often times its things you dont think about or things alot of people dont like to think about. Concepts that bring us to understand how important humanitarianism is. The instrumentals that support his lyrics are really powerful, it helps relay the message beautifully, as well as portray how Tim feels heart and soul about all these problems the world/people/individual need to overcome. Plus much more. RA!
I think every song of theirs is the best , ive listened to every song from every album millions of times (literly) and i cannot decide what is better than what thats why every song is perfection in its own way
@themightychickens Yeah, my favorite is between Revolutions and Endgame. I know they're 2 completely different albums, but after listening to endgame a few times, I realized that I like pretty much every song. I suppose Revolutions is slightly better (in my opinion) because of Like the Angel, Torches and Blood Red, White & Blue. Cheers for all the RA videos :)
I love all of RA's music. Their amazing and always will be. Just because they're going more mainstream doesn't mean they're any less meaningful in their lyrics. If anything they're more upfront about problems in the world these days.
Yeah, I have noticed that, a few of their songs I didn't like the first time I heard them but they really do grow on you. I'm sure I'll end up loving them as well. :)
@themightychickens Thanks a lot for that and these amazing videos. I know you don't like to pitch the music to avoid copyrighting, but that's how most people do it. Please don't do that. And thank you for replying to my comment. :) You're the best, man... Chicken person/thing ever.
"In a world void of feeling and heart, I know that we are the torches in the dark." Well holy shit. 0.0 I've never heard a more powerful line....It's just all together a great song. Next to "Heaven Knows" and "Like the Angel", my favorite from "RPM".
All their albums & songs are great, both their more mainstream stuff and their more hardcore stuff. {So stop fighting over it :P} State of the Union + Blood-Red White and Blue + Heaven Knows + But Tonight We Dance + Dancing for Rain & Rumors of my Demise have been Greatly Exagerrated + Everchanging + Drones + Audience of One are my faves (I had more faves then I realized :P) . Rise Against FTW
To me, Torches and Broken English justified the purchase of the album, I listened to ATR WAY too much and fell in love for a while lol I'd have to try 6 Ways til Sunday tho..
they went heavier than i known them... the guitar reminds me of some metalcore intros like in bullet for my valentine for example xD its awesome! the distortion doesnt completely sound like a metal one tho... ;)
the first song i ever listened to by Rise Against was "like The Angel", i was 9 years old, i liked it so i searched for more songs then i listened to this song and i didnt like it, therefore i never listened to Rise Against again till i was 13, i check this song out again and i now i think, was i drunk? This Song Fucking Rocks!
@Bunji567 RpM is my second favorite album from Rise Against (still an amazing album.) The Unraveling is always number one for me. Probably because it was the first time I heard Rise Against. Rise Against is always awesome though. :) So fucking happy my brother said I should listen to these guys.
@AEgamesFtw I believe when he says awesome video, he refers to the song and the lyrics, not anything I've done. What I do is share the music, I don't take credit for any of it.
@themightychickens: Are you joking? Okay, I'll admit it's not their *best* album, but I think you need to listen to "Disparity by Design" and "Satellite" again. When I think of this album, those are the two songs that immediately pop into my head, and also, "Satellite" is the first song to EVER leave me completely speechless. I quite literally could not find any words to describe how amazing that song is. "Disparity by Design" is good just because of what it's talking about.
@themightychickens Agreed. Well, Satellite and Survivor Guilt kind of stood out to me, but nothing as memorable as a song from say, Sufferer or Siren Song.... or even AtR for that matter.
@themightychickens: yea. That's what music is about. Listening to your own shit and being proud of it. People judge me for what I listen to and I juste tellcthem to piss off.
I was just using those as the first examples that came to my mind. Why the hell Roadside came to mind before Swing Life Away or the acoustic version of Everchanging, I will never know.
@sunstridingblade When your favourite RA song is in the album, it's not necessarily your favourite album. My favourite song is Collapse, but I prefer The Sufferer and The Witness(my favourite album) way more than Appeal to Reason. But I don't know if that's the case with Mr. Chickens.
@themightychickens So, did you like any of the songs on Endgame? I know you really liked their older stuff, and weren't a big fan of ATR (not my favorite album either), so I was just wanting to know if there will be any of them I can look forward to from you once you do have the capabilities of producing a lyrics video. I like yours because you actually CARE if the lyrics are right or not.
My little cousin started listening to rise against when he found my sscc album in my car. He said the cover looked cool. Now he only listens to rock music! moral of the story is judge all books by its cover.
The imagery in this song (and all Rise Against songs) are so phenomenal.
I love the slow part. Rise Against makes such fantastic imagery in their lyrics, on top of sounding downright awesome.
Thanks for the support, i will try to upload every single song by Rise Against, and on October 7th i will go crazy and upload as many Appeal to Reason songs as possible :)
I could listen to an entire song sung like the slow part near the end. Tim's voice is amazing

SUPER! That's excellent song, one of my best favorited songs I've ever listenned to it.
I think every song of theirs is the best , ive listened to every song from every album millions of times (literly) and i cannot decide what is better than what thats why every song is perfection in its own way
we all know there is something wrong with this song:
it has 22 dislikes and a stupid dislike button
I've finally grown into this one...Loved RPM but never really this one but now that's changed! Incredible piece!
THIS Song ROCKS! I LOVE IT, I love the songs that starts with guitar and then music! And then the singer.
Still an awesome band

All there songs are amazing and they all have a life lesson or message
@themightychickens i love this song! thx for uploading
i got respect for this dudes vids
It's so f***ing amazing when he screams!! I love it
your sarcasm makes my day

I love the ending about the angels it so beautiful. RA are the greatest band in the world.
New hardcore songs from RA, when I heard about them I couldn't wait to check them out. :-)
Hey mightychickens
I'm assuming you've listened to every rise against album. Which is your favorite album by them?
I really like this song
awesomely EPIC
@themightychickens Thanks a lot for that and these amazing videos. I know you don't like to pitch the music to avoid copyrighting, but that's how most people do it. Please don't do that. And thank you for replying to my comment. :) You're the best, man... Chicken person/thing ever.
this is why i LOVE youtuberepeat :D
i went to one of their concerts last year.... it was nuts.... i broke my right leg twice within an hour
Intro rocks so hard.
the unravelings my favorite rise against album
@00Powell Garh, and I won't be in Denmark then... It's like an hours drive from where I live when I'm in Denmark.
I like the beat
"In a world void of feeling and heart, I know that we are the torches in the dark." Well holy shit. 0.0 I've never heard a more powerful line....It's just all together a great song. Next to "Heaven Knows" and "Like the Angel", my favorite from "RPM".
Exceedingly good.
All their albums & songs are great, both their more mainstream stuff and their more hardcore stuff. {So stop fighting over it :P}
State of the Union + Blood-Red White and Blue + Heaven Knows + But Tonight We Dance + Dancing for Rain & Rumors of my Demise have been Greatly Exagerrated + Everchanging + Drones + Audience of One are my faves (I had more faves then I realized :P) . Rise Against FTW
@dAKarkoloAb What exactly are you talking about? This is their old stuff.
Of course, RPM simply is their best album, most long-time fans agree on that.
@ofri124421 That's a tricky one... Either Limelight by Rush, Ikaros by Faroese band Frændur or Dark Waves of the Sea by Axel Rudi Pell.
fuckin brilliant song from an awesome album
To me, Torches and Broken English justified the purchase of the album, I listened to ATR WAY too much and fell in love for a while lol I'd have to try 6 Ways til Sunday tho..
i love it ;)
i feel ashamed of myself, i haven't listened to this band in months... i've now returned to home, sweet home
what does sscc stand for? south sound community college? cuz thats where my friends go to college
@Floresman97030 I'm on a new computer, haven't got neither movie maker nor any RA songs on it, so, yeah... I don't know.
finaly i stopped crying
they went heavier than i known them... the guitar reminds me of some metalcore intros like in bullet for my valentine for example xD its awesome! the distortion doesnt completely sound like a metal one tho... ;)
@dAKarkoloAb Well if you would spend half a second looking at the video description, you'd see it's from 2003.
AtR and TS&TW are their best albums ! that's my opinion of course! :P
one of the best riffs ever by this band 1.50
the first song i ever listened to by Rise Against was "like The Angel", i was 9 years old, i liked it so i searched for more songs then i listened to this song and i didnt like it, therefore i never listened to Rise Against again till i was 13, i check this song out again and i now i think, was i drunk? This Song Fucking Rocks!
rise against is amazing......enough said
i wish they'd make more music like this, and get a little more out of the mainstream
LET'S FINALLY CHANGE THINGS! That's what this song is saying! Let's show this darkening world that we can actually make the world better.
Themightychicken best chicken next to family guy chicken
@Bunji567 RpM is my second favorite album from Rise Against (still an amazing album.) The Unraveling is always number one for me. Probably because it was the first time I heard Rise Against. Rise Against is always awesome though. :)
So fucking happy my brother said I should listen to these guys.

@sbcistheboss Endgame is copyright protected, but I'll get to the rest whenever I feel like it.
I think it's "What if my hand could block the sun" and not "Well if my hand could block the sun"
just wanted to contribute to this awesome channel ^^
@themightychickens Hey TMC. Guess what?? Rise Against is playing one show in Denmark on March 5th. in Aarhus. Just an FYI
I really miss the turn of the century.
RPM is their best album, and this could be the best song.
this is my favourite rise against song. but it is a fucking close call between this and the rest of revoloutions per minute xD
@AEgamesFtw I believe when he says awesome video, he refers to the song and the lyrics, not anything I've done.
What I do is share the music, I don't take credit for any of it.
@themightychickens Is is a bad thing if I actually went to the website?
@themightychickens is it? sry i dont have any albums i just like some of their songs... i thought this is like some of the new stuff :D heh
@themightychickens: I'm curious: why is this one specifically your favorite?

@themightychickens: Are you joking? Okay, I'll admit it's not their *best* album, but I think you need to listen to "Disparity by Design" and "Satellite" again. @themightychickens Agreed. Well, Satellite and Survivor Guilt kind of stood out to me, but nothing as memorable as a song from say, Sufferer or Siren Song.... or even AtR for that matter.
@alanihawaii123 I'm not sure, it always has been.
@themightychickens: yea. That's what music is about. Listening to your own shit and being proud of it. People judge me for what I listen to and I juste tellcthem to piss off.
@shadowant78 Melodic hardcore punk.
@Mike007RA
@UnheardMarksman No, it isn't, because thisisnottom is an excellent riddle site.
@PirateTravisJohnson1 Well now, that's pretty creative ;).
@themightychickens in your opinion what is better, ATR or Endgame
@mrciaran96 the sufferer and the witness. no question.
@themightychickens i love limelight it is a good song
I was just using those as the first examples that came to my mind. Why the hell Roadside came to mind before Swing Life Away or the acoustic version of Everchanging, I will never know.
I forgot how good they were...
@sunstridingblade When your favourite RA song is in the album, it's not necessarily your favourite album. My favourite song is Collapse, but I prefer The Sufferer and The Witness(my favourite album) way more than Appeal to Reason. But I don't know if that's the case with Mr. Chickens.

@seelder Probably this, cuz Rise Against's band start in 2002.
