Combined One Way Slab and Two Way Slab (Second Way)

Hello,In this video I will show you ,how to provide Main Bars,Distribution Bars,Cranked Bars,Top Extra Bars in Combined One Way slab and Two Way Slab (Second Way).
ONE WAY SLAB:
1.It is in a Rectangle Shape.
2. One way slab is a slab which is supported by beams or Brick wall on the two opposite sides to carry the load along one direction.
3.Supported by all four sides in continuous slab.
4. In one way slab, the ratio of longer span (l) to shorter span (b) is equal or greater than 2, i.e Longer span (l)/Shorter span (b) ≥ 2
5. One way slab is spanning in the shorter direction with main reinforcement and the distribution of reinforcement in the transverse direction.
TWO WAY SLAB:
What is two way slab?
1.First of all by looking it is a Square Shape.
2. It is supported by beams or brick walls on all the four sides.
3. The loads are carried by the supports along both directions, it is known as two way slab.
4. In two way slab, the ratio of longer span (l) to shorter span (b) is less than 2.
i.e Longer span (l)/Shorter span (b) less than 2
In one-way slab, Main bars are provided in shorter direction (Cranked bars) and distribution bars are provided in Longer direction (Straight bars). Whereas in Two-way slab Main bars (cranked bars) are provided in both directions.
DISTRIBUTION BARS- These bars are STRAIGHT BARS.
1:Bottom Distribution Bars
2:Top Distribution Bars.
MAIN BARS:- These bars are CRANKED BARS. Main bars are cranked at an angle of 45 Degree with the length of 0.42D
Where, D = Depth of Slab- Top cover - Bottom cover
D=150-20-20
D=110mm
EXTRA BARS:- The extra bar is provided along crank bars
The length of Extra bar is L/4.
