Why did I think they were going to paint red over the soles with a brush like how Andy's name was painted over on Woody's boot?
Hi Janice,
We will use brush work for smaller fine detail work but to ensure that perfectly smooth, high shine finish we use fine airbrushed layers of pigment as a brush may leave brush lines. - Handbag Clinic
Lol. that's funny. I would have never thought of. Great comment and answer too. 💙🐝💙
Because it satisfying
🤣🤣 yeah so disappointing

When I was a kid my mom used to take me with her to a small restoration shop to drop her shoes and bags, we loved sitting down and chat with the old gentleman owning the shop and watch him do the restorations. This channel brings me back so many memories, we were so sad when the shop closed 😢 and I wish this trade will stay alive for many generations to come.
It's so bizarre how spotless the shoes are beside the damaged sole O.o there's literally no signs of use on the inside
Because the sole is very fragile and the red paint comes of right away.
The leather is more resistant and qualitative so it doesn't look worn off as quickly :)
It worn off the first time of use.
That’s the point of Louboutin. They’re meant for the wealthy. You wear them once, destroy the sole, and buy a new pair. You’ll never see a celebrity wearing the same pair on multiple occasions.
CNoelle I’m not the wealthy but I own almost 50 pairs, just about how much love you have for THE RED BOTTOMS.
Hi There,
There are a couple of reasons as to why these don't show too much wear except for the sole.
They have been re heeled recently so the heel tips are not too worn down.
They are patent leather, this leather is highly durable as it is leather sealed into a plastic. The plastic coating provides significant protection to the leather.
These haven't been heavily worn, we do see soles/shoes which are significantly more worn than this and can also restore these.
Hope that answers your question
Kind Regards

did the previous owner...walk a mile in those Louboutins?
...I’ll see myself out
They don't know where I'm from.

Is incredible how you could find the exact color of Louboutin shoes
The exact color used for Loubutin shoes is a pigment that Loubutin has trademarked. It’s called “Chinese Red.” Approved vendors can purchase the color from the manufacturer to provide resoling.
You can match the color very easily.
Kekky how can you that?
Hi Violet,
Our team go through a strict training programme which includes colour matching. We match by the skilled eye of our Artisans but do have a spectrophotometer for any more challenging colours or shades. This is a very common restoration for us and our team are very familiar with making the perfect red for this work. - Handbag Clinic
I said the same thing bout the color. Cus I heard mr. Louboutin made it so the he was the only one who can have that shade of red lol
Imagine slipping in these on a smooth wooden floor yeehaw
😂😂😂😂
Was thinking the same
🤠
Small price to pay to look fire
Oh... I have 😂
Honestly everytime I say ine of those shoes I can´t get over the fact how BRILLIANT the idea of the red soles on every show is. Like, thats the best marketing you can do and its sooo iconic aswell. Blows my mind every time
I used to paint the bottoms of my heels with red nail polish... this turned out way better.
It reminds me of this clip:

@@lanablick Ahh me too! Every time someone talks about Louboutins I think of this clip! xD
@@i_alieemila I didn't know that it's popular abroad ))
You’d think with the price you are paying for these shoes, the sole would have a better longevity than those on other shoes; but they are just the same 🤦🏻♀️
Sarah Tiara I mean the part that is chipping of is the part where you walk. And even those shoes are high quality and expensive it’s obvious that part is gonna get destroyed.
The price you are paying is for the trademark..
Its really just brand value that they are paying for
Kim Vargas actually you have to pay
Sarah Tiara right?! I never buy designer stuff for this reason, because at least if something defective happens I won’t feel bad discarding it.
Too smooth, i can imagine how slippery it is
They meant to be worn only on red carpet 😩
Synthia Zeng you could slip lmao
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have one pair, so i can tell the original soles are already slippery. Lbt's shoes look glamorous but they actually uncomfortable and unsafe to wear 🥺
Just saw a video of someone repairing the same brand of shoes. He put some rubber (whatever that material isl to repair the red bottoms of the shoe. But you actually painted just like how it was made.
His wife: i need to buy a new pair of lou-
This guy: hold my sander
I like the scratches on the soles. It shows authenticity
I really love these kind of videos, they're so relaxing. ❤️
:) Your videos make me smile every time. I do this for my 20 year old Subaru, all my neighbors think me crazy.
It's like Baumgartner Restoration for things, not just fine art.
So relaxing to watch
I just love watching art being created. Amazing job ❤️
Pretty until the next one time you walk outside 😂
I’ve only seen one other restoration and yours is more convincing that the shoes didn’t get repaired. The other channel I went on glued on a red piece to the bottom which made it quite obvious it was restored while yours looks like they never been worn. Now this is what I call a restoration.
I've worn my Louboutins only a few times in five years. Why?
Because they are uncomfortable as shit.
lmao
They’re actually the most comfortable heel I own. Must be your feet.
No stiletto heel is comfortable?
@@checkyoblindspotscha9058 if you are used to wearing heels this is one of the most comfortable ones. These and Manolos.
@@lamingtongirl123 they’re all uncomfortable. Matter of degrees.
When they bring out that mini spray jar you know magic’s boutta happen. Gotta love a man who knows how to care for Louboutins!
Really nice work. FAR better than that awful Art Insider video I've just watched where the 'professional/expert' utterly ruined and destroyed a beautiful pair of Louboutin heels and called it a 'restoration'... You do fantastic work and made those heels as close to new as possible!
Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate them! Our artisan's are experts within their fields and work hard for years perfecting their craft to provide only the best services for our customers ✨
This is the best restoration I’ve ever seen.
How did you get an exact match for the red? It looks flawless!
Great job! They look amazing.
Good job! It's a real artisan work! ❤️❤️
This is so satisfying to watch 😍 I'm in awe.
This amazing man hands ❤️❤️😍😍😍 just in love how they work and move.....!!!!
Perfection! I love the clinic 💖
I love watching how you care about things.
The airbrushing part was just so satisfying !
So satisfying 😍😍😍😍 great job 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Waa this felt like ASMR! So relaxing ~
Beautiful repair !
My grandfather and uncles owned an auto body repair shop and as a kid I’d watch them do the exact same thing to cars.
Вот так надо было сделать девушки из клипа Ленинград. И все было бы у нее хорошо.
amazing work
Incredibly relaxing 😌
Whats the point of buying shoes with soles not meant to walk on them
It could be worse, the soles could still be painted with nail polish (that may be a myth but I heard they used to be painted with red nail polish).
Photo ops?
Uh you are meant to walk on them? Just because they're designer doesn't mean they're magic, they wear down over time just like literally every other shoe on the planet
@@mrselfdestruct7605 honey, you walk one step on pavement with that shoe and the soles are already ripped, i dont expect magic but better soles than a dollar store shoe, leather is not meant to be walked on, thats the whole reason we humans need shoes to begin with
@@DarkKittycat I own few pairs of heels with leather sole and those are not supposed to be heavily used, just like very high heels. They aren't made for walking on a pavement. Just like corsets, not for practical reasons.
This is so much better than the Art Insider video... so satisfying
Beautiful Work. I have Had to Re-Red My Bottoms on a few pairs of my LouBo’s , NOT All Shoe Places DO EXCELLENT, EXCEPTIONAL Work. You MyFriend are AWSOME 💘
Great job!
Such a good work
I want shoes like this the black and red looks soo good❤
Nice those look really good
I need this man in my life... Seriously
This is so satisfying to watch
Wow! Beautiful.
I love that he only fixed small details and didn't overdo it
Great job 👌
They should place a protective see through film (like they do with cellphones) on the sole to protect the red paint. Why doesn’t Louboutin invent a red sole that does not come off? 😜
You can get those placed at most shoe cobblers! Louboutin intentionally uses red paint and not red leather for the sole so that it wears off 🤷🏼♀️
They have sole protectors you can buy that match the color of the sole. Also they will cause the sole to have more grip so you don’t fall.
Hannah Stolzer but why would they want it to wear off intentionally, if not just to save on costs?
Jasmin Miettunen Because while Louboutins are a symbol of money, having brand new louboutins for every event is even more so. And how can you tell? Their red sole.
That wouldn’t be very capitalist of him.
When he spray paints the sole the only thing that i could think was of the scene in toy story 2, when the Guy paints Woody shoe
This is amazing to see. But would you slip on that sole? It has no grip
Fashion cares not for practicality it seems
Maravilhoso trabalho!
Why not make an actual red sole instead of painted ones...
Loubutin's soles are made of leather, so obviously have to be painted
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Because it brings repeat business once it fades
Good job 👍
Great result. Some red paint got on the shoe through a small gap between the tape, is there a more precise method?
Beautiful
You get a massive like!
satisfying to watch
I’ve fallen into a loop of these videos
This kind of video oddly relaxing to watch
Amazing work 🌹😉😉😉😎🌹❤
When Christian designing the shoes he wanted people who wear his shoes can leave a trace of red. The colour supposed to come off lol.
That is the most beautiful thing I have ever read
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
But why red ...like fire on floor from the walking or what.
This is hypnotizing to watch 🙂😍
LOVE!!!! I wonder if you can fix my Cole Haan leather bag. Although now I know where to send my Loubs!
I love the shoes 😍 wish I had the same 😭😭😭
I love the hole process! It’s amazing the hole work that you do ! Did you give clases ?
awesome!
Good job
Brand spanking new ❤️
I’d just pay him to do bottoms of average shoes I already had 🤷♀️
😂💀
My thoughts as I watched this
@@AB._._. why? Didnt get it. They only work for brands?
@@nazishs.8327 Louboutin have that specific red patented. So only their shoes can have that colour on the bottoms
When vintage is fresh again. 😎
Beautiful ❤👍👍
Very nice job. You know your trade without doubt and I’m not questioning that you are correct; but I wonder how safe a high gloss finish is? There is relatively small amount of floor contact anyway - and what there is, is high gloss.
High quality video but I went to mute. I thought the working sounds were very good but that musak......
Bcoz of this, me and luxury shit will never meet. If i finna spend money like that them shoes better not chip, find me a rich husband, subsidize my mortgage and water my herb garden
But real respect to the pros behind this channel. You can't buy the attention to detail or the meticulous nature restoring stuff by hand. Big up💐

You might as well do this process with a pair of heels from target.
Do they have good grip or are they as slippery as they look?

Where can I get a sole restoration compound?
