  • Perched amongst the green rolling hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Australia, on 300 acres just outside Maleny, this architecturally designed, modular cabin has been built with Scandinavian design principles in mind. Scandi at Maleny houses two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a generous bathtub, shower and double basin vanity. With an onus on deep, restful sleep, all bedding and linen was fastidiously researched by the owners.
Be swept away by the magnificent views of the Blackall Range as you sit seduced by the silence, only occasionally broken by the sounds of native wildlife, with cool fresh air on your face and in your lungs. Fully equiped with a kitchen and all the mod-cons, you’ll hardly find reason to leave except to indulge in some of the region’s best produce at nearby restaurants.

Scandi simplicity (exterior and interior) meets lush Sunshine Coast Hinterland - what could be a better combination? And with the Three M's - Maleny, Montville and Mapleton - down the road, it really would be a great base for a holiday (when we're allowed across the border).

We couldn't agree more Peter! It's an absolutely beautiful place to stay, definitely one of our favourites. We highly recommend!

It's such a gorgeous pocket of the hinterland and the owners have left no stone unturned. You'll definitely need to book in a retreat once you can get into Queensland!
