- Join us as we visit the Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World for the first time. Tucked away In the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, it offers stunning gardens, Glasshouse Mountain views and an interactive bird experience. There's also a cafe, picnic area, buggy's for hire and cute farm friends to pat. 70% of the birds in the aviaries are rescue birds who have been given a second chance at life.
On our way home, we pop into a beautiful property in Maleny that is being raffled for charity. The home is stunning and the prize includes all the furnishings. We had to show you what $2.8M buys you in Maleny!

On Easter Sunday, we visited Gardners Falls in Maleny, a popular picnic and swimming spot for locals and tourists...the weather was perfect and everyone was having an awesome time...we had to show you!

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!

When I saw the birds on people, I thought... "hmmmmm... not sure about that". And then we saw Paul's cheek! 😳
He took it like a trooper. I would have played it out for at least a week's worth of sympathy. 😏
Ha ha …don’t worry David…he has! 😆 It was actually one of the really small parrots, it would have caused a lot more damage if it were one of the big ones 🦜 Have a great weekend ☀️

Beautiful Beth and Paul. Birds were beautiful as was the gardens and scenery. I have a cockatiel, Indian ringneck who calls himself “PrettyBoy” budgies and 3 finches. Our son only lives 90minutes from Maleny and if we get up that way, I would love to go there. ❤️

Hi Tony and Rob 🤗🤗 August is a fantastic time to visit Noosa…mild days and no humidity ☀️ We’re pleased our videos have given you some ideas of things to do. We lived in West End for 7 years and loved it, but we understand how the heat can be too much for many. We couldn’t live here in Summer without a pool! We’re off to Yandina market this morning…a huge local market and then maybe a walk to Wappa falls. We hope you have a great weekend 😊

Thanks for taking us here. We were there 5 years ago on one of our regular Sunshine Coast jaunts from NZ and managed to strike a thunderstorm. Not too many were there and we had to shelter in one of the picnic gazebos. A lightning bolt struck right next to us and frightened the daylights out of us! The storm passed and we also went through that avery. I lost buttons from my shirt and had claw holes in my thin arm skin but loved it!
