    It's nice to know that there are people like you Tracy that put so much love and care into repatriating our loved ones, I loved the fact that you put a little card in place, such a beautiful touch! My mother's cousin John died on holiday in Spain, he was sat in a restaurant with his wife having a meal when he keeled over and just dropped dead, massive cardiac arrest. His sons flew out straight away to be with their mother and to sort things out. So I know how distressing it can be, thank god for people like you! xx

    With Tracy’s notes that she includes when sending a deceased overseas, wouldn’t it be lovely if that person is buried or cremated with the note included, so that whoever or whatever meets them in the afterlife knows that Tracy cared for them so beautifully as they made their journey from this world to the next. ❤

    Yet another superbly informative upload from our ladies in Oz! Over here in Northern Ireland, in the UK, we have a marvellous Charity called the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. They have brought SO MANY loved ones back to the UK from far-flung parts of the world, at very, very reduced costs, costs which the deceased's family could probably never afford....Thank you again for another brilliant upload ❤

    I would like to say thank you for your videos. Ive always enjoyed them for all reasons, but now i actually was helped by them as well. Two days ago my life long friend desided it was time to leave this earth 😢. None of us saw this coming. Since she has no living family, except a brother who lives far away and has some drug problems, it looked like no one was gonna be there to make any arrangement for her funeral etc.but thanks to a recent video i saw from you I had in the back of my head that anyone(friend or family) can claim the body and ask to make the arrangement. So I did ask, and now we, her friends have a chance to give her a loving farewell ❤. So thank you for educating us with these details that we might not otherwised would have dared to ask.

    What a lovely gesture to another funeral home director to take care of the person once they arrived to their destination! I wished I know what country that wasn't up to par on embalming and funeral procedures. I'm curious, with military soldier that died in battle, comes to you, would it require their commander/superior to observe the body upon pick up and thru the embalming/check up before putting soldier into another casket? Does the military provide their own caskets? For the soldiers that wanted to be cremated, do the foreign country do the cremation or soldier must fly home to have it done?

  • @denisebehling9772
    @denisebehling9772 8 месяцев назад

    Great explanation, thank you. What is the procedure when you, Tracy, receive a body from another country internationally? Just curious…

    • @Areyoudyingtoknow
      @Areyoudyingtoknow  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, any bodies arriving international have to be embalmed the same as we do sending out of Australia. Our funeral home transfer team will go to the airport cargo area to pick up the person and bring into our care, were the family either request the body to stay in the coffin or casket they arrived in or change into a different one, often left in the same one. If the embalm has been carried out correctly from the country repatriation happened then we should not need to do any other other preparation to the body. The person should be ready for viewing and service. Thank you for your question take care ❤️❤️

    • @Areyoudyingtoknow

    I have a friend who told me about her brother who passed here in Sydney & was transported to nz. She asked me about the process & if I knew about the preparation before a body is sent overseas. I honestly had no idea. She told me that his body was in a bag vacuum sealed but to the point where his face was squashed. The family was told by the funeral director that they didn't put a face shield on. Could you confirm if a face shield would be put on ? I told her if the body was embalmed properly, they shouldn't have any issues.

    Why a metal bag instead of a thick plastic or vinyl bag?

    • @Areyoudyingtoknow
      @Areyoudyingtoknow  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi these bag are used because the airlines here require a metal sealed unit. It is tested and proven flexible metal material that meets Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4) containment standards and is the original fully hermetic body bag for human remains. It meets IATA requirements for air transport and repatriation. It's air tight so no moisture can get in. Moisture=decomposition, we don't want that to happen.
      Thank you for your question Toni ❤️❤️

    Great vid as always ladies. The sound on this one, and a couple of others has been very low. I had puter at 100% and still very soft. Even when talking at the end, it's a bit echo (ish), it's like your lapel mics are not picking up, or audio levels on the camera are down too low. Other than that, love the content, it's just the sound that can be a bit 'how ya goin' at times.
