Actually the next song after utopia is not dystopia, it's white night, it's a trilogy album, first one should be save our lives, then utopia and white night ❤I love your reaction ❤ thank you for reacting forestella ❤
Unfortenarely i only learned this after i recorded my reaction to White Night and then Utopia. So i did them in reverse order. Will check out the first one as well.

This time, I simply had to, though, because I adore the Worldtree Series that Utopia is part of so, so much. And because you mentioned that you are a storyteller yourself and I just had to say hello to a fellow writer 🤗
I find Forestella's storytelling superb in general, but really brilliant in their original songs. To get the full scope of it here I highly recommend you watch the MV to Save Our Lives. It's Act 1 to 3 of the story, while Utopia is Act 4 to 6. There seems to be some debate, wether White Night is part three of the trilogy or not. I tend towards the latter, because while the theme of White Night fits the Worldtree Series, its structure does not. Maybe it's some kind of Coda or Interlude, and Act 7 to 9 of the story are still in the making. I'm really not sure. Sorry for rambling a bit, but as a writer you probably get my obsession with the structure of the story Forestella is telling here.
Anyway, Save Our Lives and Utopia work beautifully as a two-parter as well. Like two sides of the same coin, light and dark, or a snake biting its own tail. I recommend watching Save Our Lives and then watching Utopia again. Enjoy! I'm looking forward to your Forestella journey!🌳⭐

Another original which I'm sure you will love is Snow Globe. It was composed by Kang Hyung Ho (Pitta) with help from the other members. Apart from great vocals and composition, it has great story telling and is totally different to their other music videos. The cinematography is great too.

This is the 2nd part of their trilogy. You can see act 4~6 here. The 1st part was their Save our lives and you can find act 1~3 there. Some fans said the 3rd part is White Night, but I think White Night is out of trilogy because in the album description of KOOL which was released later than White Night, it was said "또한 'KOOL'은 세계수(World Tree) 3부작 시리즈 도중 발매하는 스핀 오프 싱글로, 세계관의 경계(Borderline)에 있어 이전 앨범의 여러 요소를 숨겨두었다. 이로 하여금 숨겨진 요소와 그 의미를 찾는 재미도 느껴볼 수 있을 것이다."
"KOOL came out in the middle of trilogy as a spin-off single." This is what I read, so I'm guessing the trilogy isn't finished yet.
The theme of the song was like Utopia for human beings might be dystopia for nature. And we need to find a way to co-exist because human beings are also a part of the nature.
In the end of Save our lives- their original song as well, previous of Utopia, you can see the World Tree was growing up. That concept of world tree of life is from Nordic myth's Yggdrasill so their concept and story is also a crossover of the biblical metaphors and nordic mythical symbols.. and they took the 4 elements idea of Aristotle in the Save our lives like each of Forestella is representing an element like the Fire, the Water, the Air and the Earth. Interestingly, their vocal ranges fit the elements for each too.
We can just guess and imagine stories, I think we can get everything clearer when the 3rd part is released.
The composer is a Dutch named Valensia who lives in Valéncia in Spain. Forestella requested him to make an operatic part like Bohemian Rhapsody as Valensia was so strongly influenced by Queen, like to have made Queen tribute album himself. Actually his first demo version of Utopia was named Valéncia, like Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Caballé, a hymn for Valencia. But Forestella changed the lyrics to suit their World Tree and Utopia concept. It's interesting that still we can find some names of local spots in Valéncia, lol.
They had more than 17K takes and used more than 400 tracks for this one song. It took more than 2 months of recording as far as they said. As always they sound better in live, so check out their live performance in Mnet too!
This song is really addictive and became an earworm in my head like constantly.

Oh yes you are loving the trilogy, second : save our lives( wow the voices in that one are insanely beautiful ) , third: white night ( very epic) and every mv video have great photography and beautiful visuals . This one have a lot of technics vocals inspired by Queen . They are huge fans of Freddy Mercury and his band . It’s not my favorite of the 3 but it’s a very crazy one . In the trilogy, each one of them represent one element Ko Wo rim the bass: the ground, kang Hyun Ho, the counter tenor: the fire, Bae Do hoon, the barytone :the water and Choi Mingyu , the tenor : the wind ( or may be it’s the opposite …)
Beware the live version of Save our lives is not a good one, it’s an award show and the audio is not famous, and the mv of save our lives is even more beautiful than Utopia ( for me) and for White night, the mv is a live performance so…😂.
And if you like beautiful mv , you are gonna absolutely love Snow globe, I don’t tell you why , you ll find by yourself. For a writer , this one is a very beautiful story telling and for a designer, a cartoonist like me is a very inspiring mv .
