  • Happy Palm Sunday, Johnson Ferry. We're kicking off Holy Week by welcoming special guest Dr. Albert Mohler as we continue on our journey to Easter. This week, we look at Jesus' famous statement, "It is finished." What did Jesus mean by saying this, and what does this statement mean for us today?

    Discussion Questions:
    1. On the cross, Jesus is fully God and fully man. What does Jesus’ thirst reveal about his true humanity, and why is that important?
    2. Jesus obeyed and fulfilled Scripture. What role should obeying Scripture play in our daily walk with Jesus?
    3. Jesus often spoke of His ability to quench the thirst of those who are thirsty (See John 4:14; 6:35; 7:37). What is Jesus talking about when he says we “thirst”? What are modern-day examples of people “thirsting for God”?
    4. In what way has focusing on Jesus’ death on the cross helped you draw closer to God?
    5. Today, we prayed for people who do not follow Jesus to be saved and to come to know him. Who did you pray for today, and what might you do this week to help that person take the next step toward Jesus?
