Respect is earned, not forced. It's simply how you carry out yourself. For example, how many Americans respect Biden? If you're a liar, proud & a thief, that's what you will be called. A doctor who promotes abortion is called a killer, a teacher who steals is called a thief, a priest who goes with children is called a pedophile & they all belong to jail, etc. Therefore, in our case, is it better to say huyu mtu or should I say huyu mwongo na kadhalika. Children of Idi Amin & Bokasa can't even appear in public yet someone is busy struggling to leave behind his children to the same fate. Respect is better than riches, but ill gotten riches & forced respect is all but vanity. It will one day vanish in a flash. Nyerere's children will forever live in peace while others will be in fear. Good comment but you don't seem to understand that the is not trying to survive but serving Kenyans according to the law for the five years term allowed him to remain as the president of Kenya by the constitution of Kenya.
