❗️Quick clarification! I meant to say “Any TRICKS regarding stat growths…” as Maddening deals with fixed growths. (As in trying to manipulate level ups by reloading) Thank you for your comments!
Another thing people need to know is that All buffs have a cap of +20 regardless of source (Emblem, Skills or Activities), found out the hard way by inheriting Luck+12 and Luck/HP+10 on Anna. if you plan to keep her with Byleth, just inherit luck+8, he will fullfill the rest.
quick addendum to your point about stat growths: they do still matter on maddening fixed growths! you gain stats every level based on your growth rate divided by 100, so a character with 30% speed gains .3 speed every level, and once those .3 speed gains add up to a full 1.2 then you see the stat level up ingame
I appreciate you letting me know! I had posted a previous video about how impressed I was with my Jean but had a few comments saying “My Jean was trash” and “Maddening makes him terrible due to fixed growths” so I guess I let that influence me too much. Thanks!
Thank you for this! There are a few things I missed because the game straight-up doesn't tell you - like units only accruing SP with a ring equipped. Missed out on a lot of SP...
My Alear got some TLC from me, for sure. That and luck. I had Starsphere (from Tiki DLC) basically as soon as I could afford the SP and never took it off. Plus I was careful with Arena battle level ups. If it was a bad level up I reloaded and just didn’t level Alear. I definitely used the tips I share in my other video to make sure his Str went up.
I would also add to this : When equiping an emblem ring. Marth let's say. You only get the skills on him that says "This effect will not stack if equipped while synced with emblem". Which means, the +15 avoids flat bonus you see at level 9, you do not get it while marth is equiped. You have to buy it AND equip it. You only get the none-stackable skill/effects while an emblem is equiped.
Actually only the stat modifiers are stackable between both inheriting and equipping the emblem except Avoid. So Roy gives Strength + x will stack if you inherit and equip Strength + x.
Anna carried my team with lyn as a hero. Having a killer axe +5 with beginnings engraved gave her at least 2 hits on enemies before she took damage at a 60-70% chance to crit. And if they attacked her they had a 30% chance to hit. Good to know that with a magic weapon she is even more broken!
If you want to do a build like that, I suggest Pannette with Roy Emblem for Holdout and have her inherit Vantage and Wrath. Roy will guarantee that she survives anything the enemy throws her way while Vantage/Wrath with a Forged Killer Axe, Crit engrave and her personal skill makes hitting 100% crit chance very easy.
Hey wait, 3:11, how’d you display the true stats of the art? I thought you could only do that in the convoy? Was that an editing trick, or can you really display the weapon might, hit, and crit anywhere?
@@soulflaya2271 I just started a battle to get the step by step: Select your unit Move to a tile (or stay where you are) Press A Select Items Place cursor on any weapon Press X It will toggle between “Performance” and “In-Use Stats”
@@FetchQuestsYT thank you for explaining that. I tried it and it worked. I wish it wasn’t so complicated to see the stats of your weapon though, and they’d let you see those stats from EVERY screen in the game. I use the - button a lot to look at enemies and my own characters, and there is no way to get those weapons stats from that screen, which sucks.
Another thing too, The enemy cannot break you if they dont hit, i gave Chloe a Killer Lance with Micaiah enchant, and she basically is immune to breaking.
@@shannonjones8877 someone said that Breaking is a mechanic there to prevent Juggernaulting, what i found out that people just werent juggernaulting enough.
I would like to tell you something I personally learned that I wish I had thought of earlier and it involves SP gains with the knowledge of the hidden levels. This might be lengthy so I apologize in advance but it's very effective. That is that it might not be a good idea to just promote certain people right away because while yes promoting can increase those stat growths, but once you reach LV 20, you of course can't get any higher, but this also means your hidden level will be locked in place until you change classes. What this can do is since SP is gained by how much EXP you earn, you won't get nerfs to your EXP gain which in turn keeps your SP earnings at a steady rate and yes while you don't get EXP at being max level, you still however earn SP so as your enemies soon get stronger, so to will the SP you earn to keep earning high amounts. The only tricky thing is just the process of gaining that SP but using skills like Michiah's Great Sacrifice or if you have DLC, Soren's Reflect while body blocking certain areas can net a lot of SP. (You can also use Soren's Rexcalibur with Vantage on heavy flying unit maps also once the enemy levels are high to farm quicker.) All in all with a little bit of time and effort on that it, getting 9999 SP isn't too hard to achieve and at that point you are free to grab whatever skills you might want.
This game sucks. I’m down the four characters. Why am I supposed to do? I don’t believe in the permanent death system it ruins everything does have a permanent death system. Oh wait, you can make troops in lots of troops.

Thank you for your comments!
Just FYI, tonics don’t stack with workout stat boosts. So if you don’t want to do the mini game, a tonic will have the same effect.
Good point! Using tonics definitely saves time if you stock up
Thank you will start over again. I have so many mistakes.

Good video. I’m on chapter 20 already, and so much of this information I had no idea about.

Seeing Alear with 32 STR at 2:39 gave me whiplash. My Alear ended up with 22 when my first playthrough ended 😭

I'm not emotionally prepared for Chapter 10, and WHAT DO YOU MEAN MADDENING HAS FIXED GROWTHS?

Emblem rings are unequipped in the arena since an Emblem can be an opponent

Not an editing trick! Just press X when you’re in the Item section ☺️
@@FetchQuestsYT it can’t be X, that just brings up the weapon stats included with your stats.

wait so are flyers immune to negative floor tiles. like miasma or smoke
Yes, and they also cannot benefit from avoid bonuses from forests or fog
Indeed they are immune to all of that

Lance Agility on top of that and she probably can't ever get hit yes?
Radiant bow Anna is op af. Astra Storm will decimate any enemy
No joke. Her Mag growth is so good you can leave her as a Warrior with Radiant bow I can only imagine how potent she’d be!
