boredoms聞いてた頃はそんなジャンルなんて存在しなかったけれど
tricotのおかげで友人にMath rockが何か説明できるようになりました。
ドラムに乗るのはむずいけどモティフォ先輩のギターにのってみるとのりやすいよ！！！
本人たちの動き真似するのが一番わかりやすいけど！たのしいよ！
最近の曲はサビで一気にメロディアスになるから凄く惹き込まれる。
去年のPotageあたりから進化がすごすぎない？まじでカッコよすぎる…
歌詞も自然体な感じがいいね！
This song sounds simple on the surface but its so fucking genius, that uneven 3:4 polyrhythm over 7/4 into the metric modulation where the 4/4 is at the tempo of the 4 in the polyrhythm just makes the hook pop so much more

I adore this song!!! Reminds me a lot of their first two albums, THE and AND in terms of writing style and tonality.
The chorus kinda does but the different verses are their own thing imo
A lovely mixture of their recent style from '3' and 'potage/on the boom' for the verses and their old style from their first 2 LPs for the choruses😊😍
Also it sounds like they've gone for the production approach similar to their '3' LP and I would be glad if the upcoming EP will go for that direction😁

I am glad that I have been listening to music all through these 4 decades plus because I could know tricot among a few other younger generation artists (I am in exactly same age with their parents), that I could appreciate their music because of that experience and that somebody else could equally appreciate it with or without similar experience. That means their music is UNIVERSAL.
I didnt liked it first but after several listenings this song is amazing... remember the AND era?

It's been years since I've found an American band that sounds as good as Tricot. Why the hell is it so hard to find women in the US the slay the bass and guitar like they do in Japan. Or is the mainstream media burring these artist from my bubble? I can only thank Amazon Music for recommending this band to me a few weeks ago. Now I'm chasing the rabbit down the RUclips hole for more artist.
