Hey man, just wanted to thank you for doing these reviews! They are very "straight to the point", informative and I REALLY appreciate the teardown sections! Hope your channel does well
Dpad emulates left analog stick by default, but this can be changed to dpad and even right-stick by pressing and holding button combination for 5 seconds. Minus button + Up/Left/Right for Dpad, Left Stick and Right stick respectively. It's mentioned in the FAQ on their website. Neat controllers to play retro games in coop while traveling, I really like them. I bought 2 of them in a bundle from Ali. Didn't have to charge them yet, but still wish the battery was easier to replace.
Been looking at this controller for a while now, and it does interest me for a number of reasons. I don't know if I'll pick it up, but I'm curious to see if 8bitdo will only exapnd on their tiny controllers. It's a novelty, but one I'm willing to pick up the more they add to these tiny controllers. They're just so cute and easy to carry anywhere!
Very thorough. Nice. I have one question about the left stick emulation on the Switch. Can you swap it to be a regular dpad or a right stick also somehow? Via button combo maybe? That keyboard mode looked very cool. Will be useful for older PC games without controller support or for controlling non-game applications like you showed.

Thanks for the video. Was looking to get this to play NES/SNES games on the Delta emulator

Somehow this controller is popular amongst graphic designer. All of the buttons can be mapped to macros.
