  • A special constable who volunteered over 1,500 hours for Nottinghamshire Police has been rewarded with a permanent job at the force.
    Katherine Tremayne has become a fully-fledged police officer after completing the force’s ‘Special Constable to Police Constable’ fast-track programme, which also saw her study a policing degree at Nottingham Trent University.

    Its great to see a person being rewarded for their efforts, all to often we hear the misfortunes of PCSO and SC who attempted recruitment for PC role unsuccessfully so this is a lovely story

      True. Every video I’ve ever seen online the police women are absolutely useless. The one is this video is a perfect example. She looks like she could have a coronary at any minute. Her waistline must be 50 inches.
