I'm not very superstitious so I don't really believe in things like tarot reading, but I LOVE games, especially card games. I got a pack of tarot playing cards after learning that their initial purpose, historically, was to play games. Mostly rummy and trick based games played with a group. Looks like a really fun game to play solo. Thanks for sharing!
Hello and thank you for this new game ! I also watched Lisa Papez who has a fun solitaire tarot game called Queens of Fate. I like to play games with my cards !
Fun! I didn’t know how to play that at all ( regular cards OR tarot) so something learned today for sure! I think this would be great for remembering the imagery of the cards as well while learning the meanings. Love it!
I like this. The Mantegna Tarot LWB includes a decent solitaire game in the instructions. Sometimes I will use tarot for solitaire as well. Very meditative stuff...patternicity play is good for the brain. Thanks for sharing this one!
I've been looking for the Mantegna and Florentine Minchiate decks for a while but they seem completely unavailable these days - any idea where threy can be found (preferably new) ?
I am gonna give it a go. I 💘 the looks of this . I think I will try it with my fairy tale tarot, and see if it will help me recognise my card suits better. I think it will do this with the bonding as well.
It's a shame that lots of people think "fortune teller" when you mention tarot, because there's awesome tarot games and it's hard to get people to play
Yeah... And to be fair tarot decks were meant to be playing cards and not for divinations initially. Only after 2-3 centuries cardomancy were "invented"
Wow this game is really fun and I love playing since I get to see all of my beautiful cards. I'm really bad at this game so far tho lmao at least im having fun
Thank you for this! This is awesome! I’ve been looking for a fun way to bond with my deck! Question… If I draw 2 ace cards in my spread… so I just discard both since they are equal?

i am also immensely curious -- could you provide a link to a post about how to play this way??
Me too please
I agree, playing games with your tarot cards is a great way to learn them. Thanks for this video!

I definitely like a good game. Thanks for sharing.
Neat! Have never thought of something like this for tarot!
The Book of Moons 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yes please!! I really want to learn games with the Tarot deck!!!

i like cards but id never use em for divination. id rather get the original jeu de tarot deck by fournier.
Wow this game is really fun and I love playing since I get to see all of my beautiful cards. I'm really bad at this game so far tho lmao at least im having fun
Yep, I am very bad as well most of the time lol. But it’s enjoyable nonetheless 😊
Great idea! Love your channel!
Margaret Patterson Thank you!!!!! 🙏🏻
Sometimes I win with flying colors and sometimes I lose spectacularly ksjdjdj very fun!
That's cool, I play a lot of Tarot games, but have never tried solitaire with a Tarot deck!
Thanks! I think there are other tarot solitaire games, but this is my go-to 💗
@@crossroadscardslinger6977 Yeah, I've seen a couple... Just haven't tried any yet. I should do that this weekend...
Am I right in saying these cards aren't ridiculously glossy like the full size deck??
I didn't know this deck existed. I want it!
I wouldn’t call them glossy. They have a sheen, but they’re pretty standard 😊
@@crossroadscardslinger6977 cool, that's what I want 😍
You could use six cards per hand instead of five to make sure that the 78 cards are divided evenly!
Wait, that’s dumb, then you’re guaranteed at least two of at least one suit every turn 😭
Thanks for showing,I just tried my first game on a new deck and got 13, I will go again!
Thank you for this! This is awesome! I’ve been looking for a fun way to bond with my deck!
Question… If I draw 2 ace cards in my spread… so I just discard both since they are equal?
Good question. This video left a lot to be desired in terms of explanation
The aces would be of different suits, so you would discard a higher value card from each suit.
Love the video, what do you do with the Majors?
Same as the minors. Discard the higher card.
i got this deck too, how do these tiny cards get shuffled? hard to riffle
I do an overhand shuffle or I deal the cards out into 7-8 piles and then randomly put the piles together
What if you have three of a suit? Do you still just remove the highest one?
Great video. Love content this type of content.
DeeVination Thank you 😊
Love this 💜
Is the fool an ace or valued at 22 like in tarock solitaire?
I am curious about this as well. Is it treated as a free card like in the french tarot game?
@@soulance8342 I'd say the fool is 0 or un-numbered in this case
Just played the game and it is quit enjoyable!
Thanks for this idea
Can you imagine playing spider with tarot?
Cool video. Maybe do a variation of "calculation", "royal parade" or "milligan cell"
Have u found any new way of playing tarot :)?
ever played french tarot? jeu de tarot?
What happens if you have aces appearing in your deck, they are useless or can they out number a certain card value
They let you cut the other cards from that suit. Eventually you'll have the the entire deck in discard and only the aces remaining.
Help what are you doing with the majors I didn’t hear
The majors are handled the same as the minors 😊
So do 2 majors have to be in the 5 card spread on top to remove the higher number?
@@melonykarlik395yes
I got 14. :((
