Checked around here in the UK. Can't get sprayable 😒 Just the pots of beef tallow. Will use a brush and improvise 😀 Chicken thighs for dinner tomorrow me thinks. In a bun ! OoOOoohh!
Yup. I don't know who he is, but a big, Guy Fierri double chomp was in order. Must've been some high quality chicken. Name of the game right there. Let the meat speak for itself. Probably how our chickens tasted that I butchered with a hatchet when I was a boy.
I love how Evan's mind is spinning, trying to figure out why it's so good. Then, at 14:17, Bradley casually mentions that the chicken is coated in beef tallow.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: you, good sir, are the Babish of Barbecue. You make everything from scratch and turn basic meals into extraordinary versions, well beyond their original state
Bit of a backhanded compliment lmao. Chud has spent years doing BBQ as a professional. Babish has never worked in a kitchen, and it shows in his videos.
Just going to say, I really enjoy Evan coming on and tasting your food. It’s obvious that you two are buddies but he’s a very good chef and his opinion does mean a lot. Amazing cook Chudling
I can confirm this was greatness. I made these for the wife and kids last night. I used my Weber gas grill though and Lard from South Chicago Packing. I basted it on with a brush. Keep up the good work Bradley!
you can get food grade pump sprayers for about $5/10, maybe $20 if you get one w/ a glass bottom. liquefy the talo then pour it in, set the sprayer in hot water whilst you're using & it SHOULD stay liquid.
I thumbsed up this video as I do anytime I watch a video Brad makes back when it came out and I happened to come back to this video since I'm fixing to make some chicken thighs and to my surprise there was a thumbs down which is absurd so beware. Not sure how that happened but go back and look at some of the channels you watch and make sure your thumbs up are still thumbs up. Sorry Brad, I can assure you for as long as I've been a fan I would've never given you a thumbs down and hope you didn't see it and think I didn't like your content. I've been an avid supporter and have spread the Chud name for years down here around the Houston area to a lot of people.
Thanks for taking the time to make buns. Those look perfect. Not too thick or thin. I make my own when I can but don't always have time. Sure worth it when you do.
Evan looks like he may well adopt that chicken thigh burger to his menu, I’m trying it this week if it’s as good as you and he say, so simple yet so yummy
I knew there was something about you that I liked. Besides being an epic pitmaster, you enjoy kewpie mayo over American mayo. Keep doin' what you're doin'!!!
Need a little help Chudsters…BR said hot & fast, but the M Chud Box was rocking around 325-350, appears to be a smallish coal bed And cook time approx 1:30?? Trying this now I instantly get flare ups over coals. Any help appreciated!
You definitely are good enough to make your own buns! You just gotta give it a try, it doesn’t even have to be perfect, as long as you out the love and effort into it, that’s all that matters!!
I think you have one of the very best BBQ channels out there on RUclips I subscribe to yours. However when you make your videos I notice you have a problem with flies landing on your food maybe it is where you live but I would suggest maybe a spray or alternative method to rid yourself of these flies. Really enjoy your channel keep up the good work
You definitely can't go wrong with chicken thighs and crispy chicken skin. Alone, crispy chicken skin would be a great snack. That looks great. Cheers! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
I've long been a proponent of salt and fire being the best seasonings for good meat, so this really speaks to me. Those tallow buns, though..... I have a large quantity of tallow(not wagyu, unfortunately) so I DEFINITELY am going to be trying out that recipe!
Love the bread recipes. This almost looks like something I could do. Wish you'd temp the meat when you take it off with a thermapen just as an example.
Let it gooooo, let it goooo.... I'd say that chicken is better for you too than chicken filet or Popeyes because its not actually deep fried and uses better fat. Looks fantastic!
Just watched Matt at Meat Church's video that dropped today. He did a chicken thigh sandwich over direct heat. Must be chicken week in Tx? I gave Chuds BBQ a shout out in his comments. Get some of his viewers over here. Ordered me some of that spray tallow last night. Can't wait to receive and cook some of these skin on thighs. As always, thanks for your vid's and your hard work Brad.
I have been in the habit of trimming the extra skin. When I cook on the propane grill, it's too much grease dripping down. I actually had my grill catch on fire and destroyed the grill twice. But I have been using the Pitt Boss pellet smoker recently, I think I will try leaving the extra skin next time. The Pitt Boss has a decent grease collector.
2 questions and 1 comment; 1. how does the beef tallow stay sprayable, especially in the winter? does the pressurization in the can help with that? 2. i never see you oil your grates. how does nothing stick? is it seasoning? i feel like im doing something wrong because if i tried to flip that chicken on my bbq, the skin would have stayed in place. comment; thank you so much for your knowledge and know how. i've learned tons from you even if i dont have a smoker yet
Hi I worked for South Chicago packing, the wagyu tallow goes trough a crystallization process that separates the solid fat from the liquid fat, the liquid is What we pack into the spray cans, on cold days it might still congeal a bit, but if you just put the spray can in some hot water it will come back to normal.
10 miller lites make everything better😉 for real though this is on my list to make this weekend, so simple and looks so good keep it up Brad and Chud fam!
Much abliged for backing it up Bradley. I didn't even realize the spray blew my mind until you did. I thought you were just being subtle. Please let 'em know we need huge spray bottles. Hate running out. Ya'll want us using more of yore product? If it's good, THAT'S how you get er done.
Thank you South Chicago Packing for sponsoring this video! Get your spray beef tallow here - bit.ly/Chuds_Spray
$15!! that is way too expensive.
For the love of god, tell them to ship to the UK
I’d pay $25

Shut, up, Beecher!
I love seeing Evan get so excited about food. Genuine joy

@@davidbuben3262he's Evan LeRoy. From LeRoy and Lewis
I never thought about pulling the bone out of thigh then putting it into a sandwich. Awesome recipe.
Seriously here I am cutting bones out when I want it boneless. Turns out I can just cook it then pull the bone out 😂
I know... I honestly feel dumb... lol
That's definitely a "I can't believe I never thought of that" moment. I feel better knowing it must be one of the oldest ones in human history!
But the bone gives it that extra crunch
@LunarLocust Gives you a new smile 😂

I think it was the tiny whisk that did it

@@fraserlaidlaw7358The dude is a ketamine addict
Brisket fried rice, fried in beef tallow, and using the tallow for fries is game changing.
Can't wait to try this! Right on spreading the word about using tallow rather than seed oils! 👊
Just going to say, I really enjoy Evan coming on and tasting your food. It’s obvious that you two are buddies but he’s a very good chef and his opinion does mean a lot. Amazing cook Chudling
That fly while mixing the bread was resilient.. 😂😂

For $15 / spray bottle, I'm not using it to season my pit. 😂
Until you win the lottery :) Will ya though.
You ain't lying.
For real. They sell 42oz in a tub for $30 and now 7oz in a bottle for $15. They’ve become popular and are trying to bank off it now. 😢
I’m going to buy 2 😂

Adding the tallow to the bun is an underrated ingredient. Same idea as lard in Cuban bread. Makes a big difference! 👏👍
Thanks for the tip on removing the bone after cooking as opposed to before. Works great and definitely a game changer for me!
I was waiting for you to hit the armpits like it was an Old Spice promo 💪🏻
South Chicago Packing, taking my money once again.
I use their tallow for the dough in beef pot pies. Definitely going to try the spray
ive seen a few people wear a cloth glove and then the latex one, seems to work for handling really meat
Your rolls always look so good
Love Evan’s reaction!
Would love to see you season a new smoker with that Sprayable Beef Tallow!!!
Guessing it would be cheaper to gold plate it!

Thanks Brad...I always enjoy your vids, and learn a lot, my go to place when I'm smoking "stuff". (said with a new-england accent).
love my new Chud Chimney! And the added snake nests and bottle cap opener key chain!
Thanks for taking the time to make buns. Those look perfect. Not too thick or thin. I make my own when I can but don't always have time. Sure worth it when you do.

Looks great and will be buying some spray tallow. You know, an onion bun is good every once in a while.
I MUST try this sometime. I'm not good enough to make my own buns and stuff but that chicken looks incredibly craveable!

I ordered mine a few days ago the instant they shared it on their IG. Lol. Gonna try using this as a sprits. Lol

I had my doubts about the ingredients in the spray. 100% rendered tallow. Impressive! Thanks for sharing Brad!
Homemade beef tallow sprayed french fries anyone?
My favorite thing to BBQ!!
Gettin me one of those chimneys!! So nice!
The “snake in my boot” was magnificent
The wagyu beef tallow is excellent for roasting vegetables too!
Gonna have to try this one. Amazing post!!!

Great video! No facades, just real life. I needed that today!
we need more of green shirt guy explaining the meals>> he was awesome
I do chix that way but spritz with white vinegar. Makes for crispy skin !
Lovely video, and the cameo was great too
Those look delicious we will be cooking those soon! The rolls are on point as always to!
Dude I am all about the tallow spray!
Will try fo show. May brine in pickle juice for a couple hours. Looks awesome.
I'm gonna try these on my OK Joe Bronco tomorrow!
👍South Chicago Packing. Good stuff. Get ya some.
Curious how the beef tallow is sprayable if its a solid at room temperature
Srsly, game changer
I just bought 4 of those beef tallow spray bottles. I can't wait for my brother to move out of my house because I'm saving up for a Chud Box.
Are you Charlie Harper and your brothers name is Allen?

Definitely going to make these. Looks awesome! Love the channel!

Oh man, I need to make that sando and get some of that sprayable tallow
Great cook Brad! - Cheers!
Dude! You're a freaking genius!
Great video! I have teriyaki chicken thighs marinating in the fridge. I will cook them hot and fast direct heat this evening.
I had to start a new playlist for chicken sandwich. Thanks Brad
Wow, ive got to cook this here! Thanks Bradley

what is bread dough conditioner and why do you use it
Can't wait to try this recipe out. Chicken sandos looking stroooooonk
Awesome, can use this in my airfryer also, great job on your videos, taught me new things
Sprayable wagyu! The only thing to spritz a brisket with next time you smoke!
spray tallow looks cool, probably try it out after it becomes more popular and cheaper, see how it compares to my favorite spray, duck fat
I will try, thank you! 🤛
What is that cast iron press called ?
Wagyu tallow in my fried potatoes and onions, makes a big difference.
0:51 preach brother. I never understood why people want to trim the best part of the chicken off.
I recently revived some cold french fries with my SCP Tallow in a cast iron skillet. OMG, it was like old school McDs.
Great video Brad!!!
You could also do this in a convection oven if you don't have a grill. Just broil it for a couple minutes before you take it out of the oven.

Spray beef fat sounds awesome!
Should the regular can of tallow be refrigerated? Not the spray the big can
